A great place to get away from the rush of life and slow down. To see beautiful sunrise or sunset. To learn to let go, and enjoy. Once you get here it’s hard to leave.
Very well maintained park! Owners friendly & very easy going. Definitely will be back again next year! Travelled over 8 hours! And was worth the travel beautiful lake. Dog-friendliness: All different beautiful puppers
Paul & Holly are lovely hosts and their campground is in a peaceful, rugged area with a couple of lakes to explore. You will especially enjoy it if you like being "off grid". I was celebrating a birthday on the day we arrived, and we were welcomed by balloons & banners at our site - such a wonderful surprise. Thank you Paul for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome!
A great place to camp if you like peace, quiet, and tranquility when you're outdoors. Large campsites, and a wonderful group of neighbors for company around the at night. Paul and Holly do a fantastic job to maintain and continually upgrade the park. Always sorry when the season ends. Always glad to be back the following year!
Verry quiet large private sites. Paul, Holly & the campers are very friendly and welcoming. 2 beautiful lakes to kayak on and swim in at the beach. Old highway trail not too far from the campground for atving or walking with access to miles of crown land and an abundance of wildlife. It was just what we needed to rejuvinate and refresh. Picnic area: Nice shared pavillion.
Great views, friendly people, Paul and Holly make you feel like family. Everyday they are doing things around the park, adding more each time we come beautiful!!
Driving from BC to NB. Got into Cochrane about 9:00pm. Had called from Hearst to make sure there was a space available. Paul was able to accommodate my not getting there until about 9:30pm. I had called another place and they told me that they were closed by 8 and made it sound like an inconvenience that I was coming from Hearst.
Well maintained, a slice of paradise. In some areas, you get to know your neighbours well, others have decent privacy. A nice community of people.
Beautiful campground with nice riding trails. Good fishing in Fletchers Lake.
A very nice variety of large spots with some for families with a playground and pavilion and some on the lakes and some nicely secluded in the woods. Spots for small or large rigs. Very friendly proprietors.
