Tessier Gourmet is owned and operated by Pam Warner of Covington, Louisiana. An avid cook and mother of four, Pam perfected her recipes over the years feeding family and friends. In 2008, at the urging of friend, Nur Pendaz of Nur’s Kitchen in Covington, she began selling her hot tamales and other specialties at the Mid-City Market, now the Crescent City Market. She later developed a vegetarian version of her tamales, as well as a few other dishes, to sell at the vegetarian-only Covington Farmer’s Market and also the Crescent City Market. Her food sold out repeatedly and a business was born. Pam began offering her tamales, as well as an entire menu of “comfort food” dishes at various markets, and overnight found she could barely keep up with the demand for her special brand of home cooking. As demand increases, so does Pam’s repertoire of delicious, fresh meals.
