Texas Health Harris Hosp Azle

This place is JOKE!!!! Take the extra 30 minutes and drive downtown to a REAL HOSPITAL! !!Avoid this place at all cost! If you want true medical help, this place is NOT IT! I was throwing up blood and stomach pain and all they wanted to do was give me a SLOW DRIP OF TYLENOL! I could’ve taken Tylenol at home for a lot cheaper than what this joke of a hospital was charging. They simply DO NOT CARE! I feel like this is where they stick all the Interns who just graduated out of school and really don’t know what they’re doing. The staff is rude, doctors and nurses take their time and really give you the vibe that they don’t care. They’re just there for a paycheck. Care Now is way better than this place. Minute clinic his Better than this Joke of a place.. which is sad. They sent me home saying it was a stomach bug .. After a week of being sick, I went downtown and it was like night and day between the 2. Downtown Tx health was amazing! Doctor, nurses, everyone was so helpful and cared downtown…. Does not compare to this clown hospital..This “hospital” needs to be shut down! My pets get better care at the dog hospital than humans get care at azle “hospital”.. shame!

Ignore the low stars for this place, the people here are amazing and friendly, they're super understanding and will work with you whatever the issue may be. I personally saw Doctor Jason S. who was super helpful and got my partner the medications theyve been trying to get for months when nowhere else would help, and Elizabeth C. at the front desk of the ER was an absolute angel of patience and care. Definitely recommend!!

So this hospital thinks it's ok to kick out a patient directly after surgery SIDE NOTE: they gave patient a ton of meds before the kicking out then processeds to tell the patient they can drive home! This is horribly bad considering the patient was groggy clearly not capable of driving. Was forced out then after a security officer basically TRYING force the patient to leave for trespassing!!!! NOTE THE PATIENT JUST HAD SURGERY What's worse is the patient tried to sit in their car until the meds wore off but said security guard was trying to get a time for the patient to leave when she was pumped full of meds! Nobody can give an exact time for these meds to stop working but the security guard was doing everything to get the patient off the property! Seems this Hospital like so many other are not there to help you but to keep you sick and even worse med you up then send you on thy way to certain death! This hospital needs to be investigated and fined for this act of neglect for a patient WE THE PEOPLE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!

It’s very sad we spend our money, and time here, trusting these people. All for these phony nurses, and doctors to treat us like we don’t matter. It’s disgusting. America has failed us, especially our whack medical system. It’s clear majority of the people in the medical field are there for the money only, not because helping people is a passion. I would wish for this hospital to go out of business, but those phony people would just take their greed and cold hearts elsewhere. If you want to be treated with respect, and compassion, and be heard, find a better facility, this isn’t the one.

Came to the hospital for an emergency and the nurse starts an argument over COVID after I told her I don't want the shot and I wasn't even in there for anything like that then another bald nurse comes in telling me he doesn't care what I need and I have to leave. Nobody should ever come to a place like this for help it really needs to be shut down. So sickening this is a place of business and they pick and choose who they like to see. I really can't believe this happened to me don't come to this place it's not going to help anyone went in there for elevated blood pressure and they made it worse then told me to leave refusing treatment. Thank God there are better hospitals elsewhere. This place is a sad pathetic joke because of the staff and lack of actual doctors. I contacted you a month ago Katie borders, are you going to respond to my email or was this just some type of ploy?

Tried to take my son to the er due to allergic reaction. He was having trouble breathing and face was swelling. We got told to just drop him off and they would get to him when they could because there was going to a minimum 4 hour waiting time. Took him to another er and he was treated immediately for anaphylaxis. Thank you Azle er for being so very unconcerned and willing to let a person die instead of do you jobs and help.

100 year old family member discharged late in the day without adequate notice a few hours although they do claim otherwise and no place to send her. She is blind and quadriplegic. PA and caseworker assigned to case were incredibly insensitive in their communication to family. When we were trying to discuss with them they called a Security Guard to stand there as what appeared to be an intimidation tactic. I personally have had a long and positive personal, philanthropic and professional relationship with THR organization and have never before witnessed such unprofessional and callous treatment.

This is the third time I walked out of this place!! This time there was nobody in the waiting room and they took 4 people in that arrived after me and cast me aside to an open cubical in the waiting room . Where there is no privacy!! I was having an allergic reaction in my eyes, I guess not important, they took a sore knee and ankle which she was walking on in, while I waited. I had enough!!

I have been here for a little over 2 hours now with an abscess on my throat. Not one person has actually taken a look at my throat, I was swabbed for strep even though if they were to look they could clearly tell it wasn't strep then sent back to waiting room. Finally in the back and nurse tells me looks like its negative they will be with you in a couple minutes. It has been nearly an hour since then probably won't be home for another hour unless I walk out. No wonder everyone in Azle calls this place the dog hospital.

The worst hospital, they don't care that your in pain they judge you and don't listen when you tell them what meds you have at home that you have used that aren't working. They give Tylenol for pain. Seriously I take stronger stuff at home that wasn't working. Discharged still in pain without any answers. It's not your job to judge a person's pain level it's to make them feel better.
