Thai Coconut Bay Restaurant

I love, love, love Thai Coconut Bay!!!! I visit it everytime I am in Pahrump! The owners are so friendly! Their pride and love shines through the made-from-scratch dishes! The Curry is Amazing!!!! I just love the tai ice tea!!!! A really Great family resturant!

Food was mediocre.looked better then it tasted. The appetizer we had was much better then the entre. *Shrmp tempora and pad thai. The pork salad was horribke as was the pad thai. Staff very friendly and willing to make suggestions and tried hard but all and all i wouldnt eat there again.

I had the yellow curry. The chicken was tender and not overcooked and the yellow curry was creamy and perfectly spicy.

Great food and friendly very fast service. We had a party of nine and were graciously served in a matter of minutes. The Honey Walnut Shrimp is outstanding. The curry is delightful. Will return every time we are in Pahrump.

The Thai noodle dishes are particularly excellent and I recommend the sesame balls for dessert. The dining area could use a little remodeling to make it feel a bit more like a Thai restaurant, but the quality of the food will make you overlook that. The service is very friendly and attentive. This place is a gem.

Without out even tasting the food, which is probably good, we had the unfortunate experience of the soup being so hot and not put in the proper container, melt the lid and then the plastic bag which was on my lap spilling out on me while we were driving. It was pretty hot. Cheap isn't always better or safer. A a new potential customer, we won't go back there.

Horrible!! Went in with my family for what I thought was going to be a great dinner. The Pad Thai was basically cooked onions and a few noodles. I kindly asked for something else, which I have never done. Thought Ill get an entree I know can't be messed up, sweet and sour chicken. Received my plate and they had cooked the sauce while warming up what tasted like 4 day old McDonald's chicken nuggets. My baby sis had asked for an entree to be without peanuts. The gentleman takes her plate to the kitchen, comes back to tell her she has mistaken what looks like peanuts is actually lettuce....... thank you jesus she wasn't at all allergic. And they made me pay for both of the meals that were just awful, and still had to go find something for dinner afterwards!! If I could give a 0 to this rating I would!!

This by far is the most pathetic representation of Thai food. The food was below average. I had a noodle preparation which when presented at the table, looked as if it was dumped in a pile on the plate. Tasteless and looked like it had been dumped in the garbage. An appetizer of calamari was several breaded squid rings breaded and fried. $8.95...Really? Save yourself the disappointment and skip this place. The pictures in the menu don't reflect the mess they serve. I wish I had good things to say.

Not a fan of Thai food, but I saw the restaurant and being new to the Pahrump Valley I wanted to try it out, I was pleasantly surprised their food was actually really good. Nice service, did not have to wait long for my food. I would recommend this place to eat at.

Use too be a great place to go a couple years ago. The waitress and the waitress in training were great. I got the Honey Walnut Shrimp. The sauce was great. The shrimp wasnt. It was really heavily breaded. About 15% of it was shrimp. Tasted premade/prefrozen. The picture on the front door of the honey walnut shrimp is not what you will be getting. Far from that. My fiance got the Pad Thai. His noodles were undercooked. He said the chicken was great but he couldn't eat the noodles. The waitress said something to the cooks and they made us a new order to go. We would have said something sooner but we weren't checked on till we got the check. I don't see this as the waitress's fault because one was training the other and sometimes things slip the mind. We got home and they forgot bean sprouts, green onion and the lime in the to go order of Pad Thai. The noodles were cooked though. My major disappointment isn't the food. It was the fact they had no coconuts. That was litterally the whole reason I went.
