That Fish Place is such a fun experience. I took my 2 year old niece for the first time and she loved to walk around and look at the animals. There are ferrets, bunnies, hamsters, Guinea pigs, frogs, snakes, iguanas, turtles and of course - fish. So many fish! The staff are very knowledgeable and informative . If you want to avoid crowds, don’t go on weekends!
I’ve gotten lots of fish and animals from here and each time they’ve been healthy and very active. I really love that fish place! I have multiple aquariums in my house so I’ve even gone there to ask questions to see if I need to treat something or just ask questions about the fish they have. It is definitely a great place to take kids as well they even have a spot you can pet rays!! I would definitely recommend going here!
Was looking for small fish filters and no one had them. Thankfully you guys did and for only $5 for 4 filters. Way cheaper then online. Store very nice and clean and great customer service. Plus very kid friendly and lots to look at and do. My kid had a blast and asked to go back. Thank you very much.
We brought home this beautiful English Budgie. Their birds are so well cared for. The young lady who helped us had a great attitude, was kind and informative can’t remember her name but her initials on the paperwork is MR. I highly recommend this place for any of your pets. They don’t let you take them home without making sure you have or purchase what you need.
I love the selections for my dart frogs vivarium. Great healthy plants and large selection of supplies. Kids love coming with me too!
I really love this store. So much that I posted in fish forums about it. It was clean, well designed, and well organized. The fish room was beautiful! I only have two areas of concern: 1. The bathroom. Out of order stall and no toilet paper in the other two- also could have been cleaner. 2. The Oto tank had a pile of fish sticks in it what I call dead fish. Like six of them. I went there wanting to buy them but they also had no guarantee. So I walked away and let a cashier know: and she was wonderful about it seriously the customer service is great. Also: Ben- whoever you are, your aquas aping is top notch and the display tanks were not over crowded. Absolutely wonderful. I will return again and again! It’s an hour drive for me and there are box box stores near me and my one LFS about 40 min away but this is going to be a regular store in my life. Well done.
I have been coming to That Fish Place for many years and consider it THE destination for all things pet oriented. On the aquatics side, their selection of aquarium equipment and livestock is second to none. They also have a very knowledgeable staff on both the floor and the fish room ready to help at a moments notice. On thing I definitely appreciate is that they are very active with their coupon mailers and weekly sales events. Keeping your customers in the loop with big sales and coupons gives people like me who live an hour away more incentive to make the drive. That Pet Place is also very active on social media, constantly hosting free events such as pet specific expo days and swap meets. Last year I attended their That Cat Day! which was a mini cat expo inside the store. They had several cat specific brands in attendance handing out free samples and swag for the kitties. Overall, That Pet Place/That Fish Place is an amazing store that all pet lovers need to check out if they are ever passing through the Lancaster area!
5 stars for the grooming! The best part of That Fish Place is the Grooming -That Groom Room. Kayla is absolutely fantastic! My little guy is so excited to see her and she does a wonderful job grooming him! We won't go anywhere else- please don't ever let her leave!! As far as the rest of the pet side of the business at That Fish Place- very big selection and really a one stop shop, but prices are higher.
Honestly this place was a hike for me as I live in Delaware. But it did not disappoint! This place was HUGE and had a great selection of items. From fish to birds to reptiles to bunnies to cats/kittens. Pretty much everything from just starting out to older pet care it’s great! You can bring your animals in as well to enjoy and pick out what they want. Definitely worth the trip!
Very large selection of pet supplies and small pets, such as reptiles, ferrets, bunnies, birds, & fish. Probably the biggest saltwater selection in the area. They also have a stingray pool where you are able to pet the stingrays - very fun for kids!
