About
The B.O.B. (an acronym for Big Old Building) is 70,000 square feet of fun in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Description
The B.O.B.—an acronym for Big Old Building—was originally built in 1903 as Judson’s Grocery Warehouse. It stood vacant for decades until The Gilmore Collection purchased the building in 1997, ultimately saving this Grand Rapids gem from demolition. The 70,000-square-foot, four-story, red brick building is now a downtown icon housing several acclaimed restaurants, a comedy club that attracts national talent, the oldest microbrewery in the city, a live music venue, a popular nightclub, and a variety of different banquet facilities.
