Convenient bus center, but beware of unstaffed parking problem we've had in the morning. If your ride here parks in the lot, they might have trouble getting back to their car, even if they have the parking ticket with them! The door wouldn't unlock. And by the time they found a way back up, the 30 minutes of free parking had expired. Broken system!
Drivers are always professional and courteous. I was without my vehicle for over a month. The bus definitely helps get me to my appointments. That's why I vote yes every year on Rutland city budget ballot for MVRTD. Money well spent. An invaluable asset for Rutland residents as well as residents in surrounding towns.
Some of the bus routes are nice to ride especially when it's a bigger Gillig vehicle but it's not perfect by any means. I'm not a fan of the local routes ending very early at all and their complaint system is a joke, there was one time I was threatened by a passenger on one of their buses but there is no place on the website to file a complaint nor even a good number to contact either. Some people don't keep their masks up either and none of the drivers seem to be enforcing the mandate, it's ridiculous!!
I almost lost my college card if It wasn't for the attentive bus driver. The driver on the Fair Haven route is a life saver. Totally saved my day. Can't thank him enough.
Terrible. No facilities, unclear directions. Clear that Rutland is making no effort to promote public transit
it's easy to get on and off where you want to go
Always on schedule. Great drivers. Glad to see no one has to wear a muzzle anymore.
Drivers keep their own schedule, and don't enforce wearing a mask.
Area was clean, thrres no smoking allowed in the bus terminal. There is a waiting area inside, unfortuntely its closed at the moment due to covid.
The only time I've tried to ride the bus in years and it's closed for and hour at noon. Why is this not posted on the website
