Went for a message on 5/10/18 with an appointment made with a Groupon . Message therapist talked more than she should have. This is a time to relax and NOT talk! My massage was cut short apparently due to not having enough time and having another client right after me. The relaxing music that usually plays throughout the message stopped and the therapist had to stop to “replay” her music. And finally, since I went, I have had very uncomfortable pain in the back of my neck that shoots into my shoulders! I will never return and do not recommend this place in the slightest for a massage.
After three year’s of working with these doctors I have come to an important and much overdue opinion of them and will be seeking treatment elsewhere. They never get my meds called in without incident as they are completely disorganized, not the staff but the doctor. I have spent well over $25,000 for treatment that should be completely free with Medicaid. as it is in every state I’ve ever lived in. What’s worse is that I’m finally after 15 years of a painful debilitating spinal injury am set to have surgery on the 22nd and I told this practice over five times that I need a three week supply of my essential medication to keep me stable until my serious multiple surgeries. I once really liked this doctor until I realized that despite the fact that I pay an absolute fortune to see him which is both unethical and criminal which in part we have Medicaid to blame though we have plenty of shameful doctors willing to capitalize on our pain by charging patients a bloody fortune to get the essential help we need. They have zero conscience’s and could care less as Lola’s they get paid absurd amounts of money for giving a script to a suffering patient , equally culpable and complicit are the unscrupulous doctors who exploit for their own greed obscene amounts of money just to be seen for five minutes per session. I have had Lyme disease as well and we encounter the same problems with procuring ethical doctors who adhere to DO No Harm which of course they do harm as they are capitalizing on the severe disease that Lyme is and our inability to stand up for ourselves because we’ve all been too sick! This is truly akin to the exact same treatment and inconsistent treatment and therapy I’m in search of right before my surgery. This guy has over 5-6 office’s where he’s raking in the fund’s and he won’t even see me until I pay him $250 first for each monthly office visit. It’s reprehensible and hopefully I’ll only see them once again where I will absolutely share my experiences with this money starved money grubbing disgraceful practice. This is unlike any thing I’ve Ever experienced with any pain doctors! Additionally. The Doctor told me I was extremely impatient which could not be farther from the truth as I waited very patiently for 30 years for my Lyme diagnosis which is criminal injustice inflicted on innocent Patients who cannot find an educated doctor to take a simple blood test! I also waited another 15 years to get my essential spinal surgery I’d say all of this is clearly indicative of a superior patient’s utmost patience though even it had a speck of truth which is completely impossible he was abusive. What kind of amoral uncaring doctor says this right before one’s surgery scheduled to happen two days prior to that unfortunate offensive appointment with Dr Menkin Therefore on top of my spinal injury and late stage Lyme disease get called impatient! I think I’d be more patient if this doctor who I pay a fortune to see from my entire life saving’s actually called in my meds when due. This is disgusting so I’m absolutely taking my business elsewhere. If he fails to treat me on my final visit I’ll report him to the board of medical examiner’s for retaliation efforts on his behalf. I’m lobbying in DC to create Ethical guidelines in the treatment of Lyme. This is solely my non profit however I am teaming up with my senators, congressman and State representatives to effectively implement the changes we must make immediately, this cannot be a disease for the upper class White people who are more likely able to afford treatment however I absolutely know of many African Americans and Latino’s with Lyme. This doctor does Not clearly understand the pain that Lyme patients endure which is pernicious! I’ve told him that the Only way for him to understand Lyme disease will be when he and his children get infected which unfortunately is a question of when it will happen it if it will not if in NJ it maybe good for him as he will learn firsthand how wicked and painful Lyme is and he will develop more compassion and empathy.
I love this place excellent doctors and staff: Dr Menkin has helped me so much with my extremely advanced spinal injury and has been a godsend to me during the last few years while I’ve been unbelievably sick with Lyme disease which also causes horrific unbearable spinal pain in addition to being disabled from my spinal injury! I’m trying to help them become as Lyme literate as possible to help not only myself but the many others who unfortunately have Lyme here! He’s open! I get a lot of procedures which helps though it’s almost impossible to obtain enough medication to manage my pain in this state so I use a multiple therapeutic approaches, enlisting every thing out there like PT, yoga, inversion, and the list continues because it’s a full time 24/7 ordeal to manage my situation! However, being in excellent competent and caring hands with this practice makes me feel so much better! I only need him to give me the appropriate amount of medication to successfully manage my surgery because I have a very busy professional life that involves physical, mental work and travel so I need him to get this aspect of my care more appropriately to accommodate the severity of my injuries, which we’ve both collectively decided I must have surgically corrected asap after I complete my professional obligations this summer, so that I can hopefully after having my spine completely “renovated” and surgically corrected which is going to be an incredibly incredibly involved and complex surgery or surgeries, it’s really my only option to have a better quality life experience.
I havnt been here in a while but I love this place. I found a Groupon for this place, and after I kept going and paying out of pocket. I recommended basically my whole family and they were happy as well. I havnt been back in several months just because life has been super busy but seriously if you need to be adjusted this is the place to go. He pretty much cured my limp. Highly recommend 10 out of 10.
I usually don’t write any negative review for anyone but I’m upset with this. I got the deal on Groupon for a 60 minutes massage. I didn’t feel welcome from the front desk may be I look foreigner. They handed me bunch of papers to fill. I got this deal on groupan and I paid ahead of time. they confirmed me a day before but they never told me I have to come early and fill out all these forms. By the time I reached the room, massage therapist told me that seventeen minutes pasted and she have to cut short my massage for seventeen minutes because she has client lined up every hour. Meanwhile while I was sitting in the waiting area I didn’t see any customer waiting and I stayed fifteen minutes in parking area I didn’t see anyone coming to the building. I was really disappointed that the timing they promise they’re cutting down with excuses and also felt there was no open communication. If they would have told me that I have to fill out bunch of papers I would have come early. Massage therapist just keep talking to me instead of letting me relax during massage session. I didn’t feel relax at all. My friends were looking for decent place to get massage I exciting told them that I was going that day and I’ll let them know my experiece. Unfortunately, I would not go there or recommend anyone.
I called and made an appointment, but did not even get the opportunity to meet with the doctor because of the incompetence and lack of compassion from the front staff. I expected a warm welcome as a patient coming in to get help from a doctor. She took my ID and insurance card and looked at it quickly and said that I didn't have out of network benefits. I immediately disagreed wit her I called my insurance and they explained that this practice was in network. I asked her to call my insurance and double check but she refused. I ended up leaving bc she offered no resolve. They need to correct their status with my insurance if they are truly out of network. Also, I have out of network benefits which I would have been willing to use if she offered better support in coming up with a solution. She resorted to not helping me because it was the easier thing for her to do. I would not recommend this place because of the bad customer/patient service.
I got the Groupon for this place which included a 60 minute massage and chiropractic consultation and adjustment. From the beginning, the woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. There was no wait time when it came to my appointment. I came in, filled out an information sheet, and was taken right in for my massage. The massage therapist I believe her name was Sam was so attentive to my needs and the pressure she used was absolutely perfect. I have fibromyalgia and she really helped alleviate so much of the pain I feel on a daily basis. By far the best massage I've had in years and I will surely continue to go back. I then saw Dr. Bryson who did my chiropractic evaluation and he was knowledgeable and explained everything to me very well. He made me feel at ease and provided me with an adjustment on my back and neck. I left the center feeling lighter than ever. I would highly recommend this business.
I've been going here for a long time , Dr Joe has been the best cyropractor I've ever had , and believe me #1 after years of self inflicted abuse due to employment needs, I am much better for worse than if not for his help. Good stuff indeed .
Excellent beautiful I love it my favorite place to be
Helps you take your life back.
