We had a great time here last night! The service was prompt and very friendly. We wanted to sit outside because it was a beautiful night, but the hostess said it was very crowded outside, and that we might feel cramped, but she would be glad to accommodate us if that's what we preferred. We decided to eat inside and had a wonderful experience. We ordered several appetizers, all served promptly and piping hot. Our dinners included lobster mac & cheese, whole belly clams, fried flounder, a burger, and chicken and waffles my choice and DELICIOUS! We sampled each other's meals, and all of us were very happy. I love that this restaurant is in the airport at Keene, and we watched small planes land and the sun set. Good setting, good food, good friends, good night!
This was by far one of the best restaurants we have had dinner at. It was great finding a local place that us not part of a franchise. Everything in our three meals was perfect, a lobster roll, fried haddock and chicken The onions rings were crisp yet so tender that not one onion ring came out whole when you bit into it. I was full from my lobster roll so we brought home salted caramel cheesecake. ..this melts on your tongue leaving behind caramel sweetness. I can't wait to go back and enjoy another meal.
Amazing service & GREAT food!!!! Went for breakfast and mimosas! It was my friends birthday and she got free mimosas!!!! Check out that cinnamon bun french toast!!! You can watch the planes take off and come in too!!!! So cool!!!
Great food, friendly service, nice location right on the airport. If you enjoy watching planes or are just looking for something different, give it a try! There is lots of patio seating indoor too. I've eaten here many times and never been disappointed. Today I had the Irish Benedict, which was delicious!
The food was fantastic and the servers there were very friendly. The variety on the menu was awesome. Very resonably priced for high quality food.
Nice hidden gem that doesn't get the attention it deserves. Tucked away near the local airport, plenty of parking, and a peaceful setting. Older model planes hang from the ceiling and the views are to the airstrip, trees, and sky. The food selection is nice, presented well, and taste delicious. My favorite is the Smoked Salmon Benny. Cold smoked salmon on top of an English muffin, eggs, hollandaise sauce. Don't forget to visit the candy room, which is full of ice cream during the warmer seasons, and houses a salad bar. I tip my wing to this restaurant.
Loved it. The ambience is great. A lovely vintage feel. The food? Ohhhhh!! Really nice. Try the fries, the wings oh my word; those mango habanero wings, & the philly cheesesteak. Lemonade? Ohhh!! Refreshing. Just try this place. Winter hours: 11am - 3pm. Summer is a different schedule. So, check it out.
A little out of the way...a little eclectic and a good place to eat. Part of our get out of the house Covid day out we traveled to Keene to start the day with breakfast. Great views and if you like planes or helicopters an awesome for to watch them take off and land. 2 of us ordered - eggs, toast, brisket hash and potatoes. 1 had the 3 breakfast tacos and the other has the brisket hash scramble. Watched several planes come and go as well as a helicopter practicing takeoffs and landings. Good was good... Very good... Don't let the looks of the place deceive you. And $54 for 4 meals including drinks was reasonable. My only complaint was I wanted more brisket only 3 pieces hash. But we walked away full so no complaints. Will go back without hesitation.
Stopped in for lunch with my son. It was delicious. Prices are fair, service was quick and friendly, and very little wait to get our food. We WILL be going back.
FLIGHT DECK IS BACK!!! don't let the modified service discourage, they're all in- thank you tracy- fav spot in keene to sit.
