The Grand Theater was founded in the 1930s in Stamford, Texas. After closing in 2011, a group of individuals in the community came together in the summer of 2016 to raise support and funds to reopen the theater as a community project. Currently in the construction and fundraising phase, the Grand Theater hopes to reopen to the public in early 2017. Such a wonderful experience. The people are so nice and make you feel welcomed. Nice atmosphere and prices are reasonable.

Tks to Sarah and Preston stamford gets current movies and great service,  low prices, cool temperature. They are so nice and friendly,  we are blessed.

Definitely I love this place,  I have been there 2 times when I went to visit my daughter.

My wife and I went to see Top Gun Maverick last night at the Grand Theater and it was a great experience.  Kudos to all involved in the remodeling.  The theater is larger than all the little cracker boxes you see at most theaters and the sound was great as were the rocker back seats.

We were very glad that we were able to watch our girls softball game there. That was a wonderful ful contribution for our small town. The ones who were there were senior citizens parents with small children and others who physically could not attend the game. Thank you Grand theater for your kindness.

Such a blessing to be able to watch a blockbuster Top Gun Maverick without driving 40 miles. Also, the total cost under $30 for two! I just kick myself for not stopping by sooner!

Great!!! My brother and sister in law rented the theater for our family reunion at Lake Stamford. Friendly owners there! Love the buttery popcorn.

Elvis will cause your eyes to leak!!! For me personally, it's a bit loud. I'm pretty jumpy where loud noise is concerned. This theater really is Grand!

Great seat. People that work there are helpful and friendly. Snacks are good. Great for family outing.
