Smoked Shrimp Tacos with a yummy, slightly spicy sauce. Better than most shrimp tacos!! Very tasty. Fish and chips are crispy and fresh, always a delight. And then there's the friendly service and stellar view. Winner, winner awesome dinner! Uh...we had lunch, so it's munch, munch, awesome lunch? Parking: Lots of free parking in the area! Wheelchair accessibility: I feel it's wheel chair accessible but it's a tight and full patio, with lots of tables and chairs. It could be tough to maneuvers a wheel chair without someone willing to move things out of the way. But once in, I bet you could wheel right up to a table and have a great view.
Had a great relaxing dinner at sunset. Calamari steak was great. Creme Brule Cheesecakewas fabulous! Cost was $100 with tip, two dinners, soup, & dessert no drinks.Food: 4/5
Awesome place. Super friendly, attentive, and quick wait staff. We had outdoor seating in the wonderful sunshine. Our beloved pup got to sit with us and enjoy this truly remarkable experience. The food was good. Drinks were great. All in all it was a memorable event for our trip. Wish I would have taken more photos to share. But I was occupied enjoying it all.
The location offers great views as you sit and enjoy your meal. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating available, weather permitting. The restaurant has a welcoming feel and the staff was very friendly. There is no dress code and you come in as you are. The server was clear and offered great information on the plates. With his help I ordered the swordfish and my father ordered the mixed seafood skewer. Mine was delicious with generous portions. My fathers was also very good. The price is as expected for a vacation spot and seafood in general, both our plates were priced at $36. I ordered a whiskey sour with my meal, and wow, heavy on the whiskey...which I really appreciated. The parking is right outside their front doors and there is always available spots. The dock outside is nice place to wait, if there is a wait, and generally a nice hangout for the otter population. Overall a nice time at a nice restaurant. I shall be back again in the future.
We give this restaurant a full five stars. The location offers a great view of the bay and Morro Rock. The restaurant has cozy ambiance and clean environment as well. Our server was kind and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the steamed Dungeness crab which was fresh- not frozen. Absolutely delicious. The barbecued oysters were juicy and had a delicious butter garlic sauce. We even used the tender sourdough bread to continue dipping into the sauce. This was our favorite restaurant in Morro Bay.
Dungeness Crab, linguini with clam sauce, grilled halibut, sauted mushrooms and calamari. All great dishes. I especially liked the crab legs. Wow. They were excellent.Food: 5/5
Fun atmosphere and terrific food. The seafood is very fresh. And the otter nursery is just across the pier, so dinner and a show! Follow up!!! Today, we had the Almond encrusted Sole with a beautiful caper sauce. So very fresh and tasty!
Great place to have lunch or dinner. We had lunch with friends and everyone was very happy with their meal. We had the Gafco Sandwich with fries and were very satisfied. Our friends had the Snapper Sandwich with rice. The Snapper was fresh & the rice was really good. We sat outside with our dogs. The view of the bay and Morro Rock can't be beat. There are lots of places you can choose to eat in MB, The Great American Fish Company is one of the best
The host was very hospitable and courteous. He was able to answer all the questions we had about the menu considering we were ordering take out. We ordered a few items and a soda. The food came out quick and we were on our way. He even offered to refill our soda before we left! Great first experience. We will be back! Parking: Lots of space to park. You can even park and walk along the pier after or before you eat.
Very good quality produce the oysters are highly recommended, very simple and satisfying dishes, good wine selection, friendly staff and very clean place. Not to mention the view lovely view of the Morro rock and the sea lions.Food: 5/5
