The Hip Hop Collective student organization represents hip hop culture at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
Four elements, one culture.
Established in 2001, the Hip Hop Collective (HHC) at the University of Florida was organized to bring authentic hip hop culture to the Gainesville campus. Along with its flagship event, Soul Cypher, HHC uses the arts of hip hop to bring awareness to the values of the hip hop culture, social and economic issues and the values of creativity and innovation - principles and themes that the pioneers of the culture fought to express in their arts.
To further the education and development of hip hop culture by bringing it to the collegiate setting.
