Tom and his assistant, Amy are the Best! Tom has repaired my tennis bracelets over the years, serviced my watch, saving me hundreds of dollars each time, and repaired rings. He curated a new necklace out of a large diamond cocktail ring and even paid me for the platinum shank. He does quality work and takes the time necessary to exceed your expectations. It is always a joy to see Tom’ and Amy’s Yorkies in out of their playpen, at the store!
I honestly had high hopes for this jewelry place. I do not recommend. This repairman and his staff charged me $25 dollars to fix my necklace the first time. Well, sadly the necklace broke in the same spot and they wanted to charge me $48 this time. I explained that I was charged less the first time and the rude lady who assisted me kept going back and forth with me. It’s not my fault that the people who work there are not all on the same page. They LOST my business today. I should’ve stuck with Bromberg’s in Birmingham!
Although Tom offers comparable prices for fixing jewelry, he was very dismissive and has very terrible customer service. There is not a reliable timeline for when he will get repairs done. Additionally, when we went to get a ring re-sized he broke part of the black onyx stone and failed to acknowledge that it was from his doing and was very rude and dismissive when we were trying to resolve the problem. I would recommend finding a different Jewler to have your pieces worked on.
Honest and friendly. Does good work and will let you know if he can't do something. He has done a couple ring settings for me, changed some watch batteries and is currently repairing some bracelets.
I went in just to get some quotes and Tom was very rude and became very defensive when I only sought out information. I asked if I had done something wrong only for him to turn his back and walk away leaving me to just stand there. I collected my belongings and left feeling very belittled for only asking simple questions such as turn around time, price, the process, etc. I do not recommend anyone use their services as I can see this is a recurring theme in their establishment.
Work was super fast and very professional! But some of the most unfriendly ppl I've ever met in business. Although the work was great, if I found another place I would go because it felt like I was almost a nuisance from the moment I entered thru the doors. No one spoke and no one smiled. I was completely invisible.
Tom is the best.From repairs to sales, go check him out.
My husband has purchased beautiful, high quality rings from Tom’s Jewelry. Along with repair of jewelry even those purchased or not purchased from Tom’s Jewelry.
They fixed my bracelet and it was shining like new money great service
Awesome people. Got my ring sized quickly!
