Always been a heaven and still is, even during Covid19. Currently operates at reduced capacity. All procedures and staff properly trained and was adhering to mask and other rules. Wasn’t sure how comfortable we would be but once we saw how things were handled our confidence increased and we could relax. Even yummy snacks were packed in little personal containers to ensure safety. We only opted for massages and using the pool/facilities. Loved the salt wall in the sauna, and nodding off poolside. The attendants and pros were in masks entire time. Guests are asked to keep masks on. When getting a massage and swimming has to take it off. Ended up having a wonderful 2 days. Keeps proving itself as the top spa in this region. Their renovated larger space is fantastic - done well without loosing the cozy feeling. Only minor issue was keeping up with where treatment rooms were and where to wait; they can improve that hopefully. Can’t wait to return. What better escape during this stressful time to nurture your body and mind. Update: the resort is back in full swing. All the Carriage House amenities like the complimentary happy hour is back. Huge shout out the Leslie - ask for her when you book Himalayan salt stone massage!! It’s outstanding practitioners like her that keep me going back.
The bad: - the pool has too much chlorine so expect your swimwear to be ruined. Was pretty upset when my $150 swim suit was ruined after wearing it for the first time. - the service at the spa restaurant was terrible. You have to preorder and book your timing. When we went up, waited over twenty minutes before we even had someone give greet us. We asked for a spoon for our soup when it was delivered 15 min later and ultimately had to eat the soup with a fork because after waiting another 10 min we gave up. - we spent 2 nights in Kohler to celebrate a milestone birthday and the spa was the Main driver for coming here. Although we enjoyed ourselves, every meal and hotel had issues. We travel a lot and never have encountered so many mess-ups! The Good - the massage itself was nice
Had a wonder Invigorating but peaceful facial with Kimberly. She explained each procedure along with each product. Kimberly recommended what products were best for me. She has a very sweet gentle way about her. Very positive experience.
My mom, sisters and I have made a tradition of coming to Kohler. We love the spa. It's very well run with ample space to relax. I particularly like the sauna/steam room/cold plunge. I could have the sauna hotter but that's personal preference. The staff is so kind and attentive often cleaning up water cups, towels, etc. The services are well done. I find the hydrotherapy ones worth the price as they're unique to Kohler. Every service I've gotten is enjoyable it just gets expensive for the experience. Thank you for a wonderful time!
This spa was amazing! Great experience and friendly staff. Clean and relaxing atmosphere.
I just had to come back and leave a review after stopping at the Abbey for a massage... It made me appreciate just how awesome Kohler truly is! The service was phenomenal and I can't wait to come back. Every time you turn around there's someone who knows you by name and is making sure you are want for nothing. The place is absolutely spotless. Amenities are top notch. And the massage was the best I've ever had. Cannot recommend it enough!
What a cool spa. Let me preface. i am not a Spa person usually. But I gotta say what a relaxing place. My wife and I spent two days at the spa. They had Hotbtubs, steam rooms, sauna, pool, snacks, and massage services. I tried the cascading water fall and traditional massage, Both were relaxing and conducted by excellent masseuses. Great get away weekend spot.
Great service with friendly and attentive staff. Best massage service and the amenities are excellent. Appointment are required, will definitely return.
Incredible spa day for a couples get away! Very friendly service, the services we received were great! The facility was clean, and very relaxing! Highly recommend!
Give your staff member Sam a raise! What a stellar human. Great customer service. This establishment is stunning. I really enjoyed my time in the spa. I’ll be back soon!
