Since its renovation in 2001, Dayton's historic Liberty Theater is a community center for cinema, live stage, civic presentations and special events.

"The Liberty Theater is a historic theater, owned and operated by Touchet Valley Arts Council, Columbia County's nonprofit arts center. Located on Dayton's Main Street, the Liberty Theater plays first run, foreign, and classic films, produce live musicals, comedies and dramas, and hosts concerts."

Very friendly ppl who run this theater. Its been kept up so well. I love how they kept it simple and preserved the old fashioned candy counter and the theater itself and didn't turn it into another mega theater. It's been well cared for and they even have theatrical productions which keeps a town alive with such  ancreative artistic community.

What a great small town theater!  It’s been nicely renovated a while ago with main floor and balcony seating.  Friendly folks work here.  Pleasant atmosphere.  Great snack bar choices.  Comfortable seating.  A nice place to see a movie.  It’s also used for live theater productions.  Worth a visit.

Nice old style theater where we saw a local production of the Sound of Music.   Had a great experience and enjoyed the theater.

The Liberty Theater, in Dayton, Washington, is a cute little down-home theater with an active and enthusiastic local theater company. We truly enjoy seeing this community by seeing their play offerings. Kudos to the players and stagehands for all your hard work!

Went to see the play Willy Wonka. Absolutely wonderful experience for the whole family with Delicious popcorn! Definitely will go back. Clean & comfortable, kind staff, good atmosphere & the manager is funny
