MHA’s programs provide for early identification of mental health conditions, community-based treatments and evidenced-based interventions.
The mission of The Mental Health Association of Westchester County, Inc. (MHA) is to promote mental health through advocacy, community education and direct services.
MHA serves 12,000 individuals each year through a continuum of services designed to meet a diverse population including:
• Addressing the mental health needs of children, families, adults and seniors through licensed clinic, community and home-based programs.
• Providing bilingual/bicultural treatment and support services to Westchester’s Latino population.
• Advocating for timely and appropriate permanency planning for children in foster care.
• Increasing public awareness and understanding of mental illness, recovery and rehabilitation through community education and advocacy.
• Helping children with emotional and mental health issues live in the community through intensive case management programs.
