Part of our extensive growth involves Davey's Locker Sportfishing and Whale Watching located in the Historic Balboa Pavilion and our original company Newport Landing Sportfishing and Whale Watching.
Welcome to "The Mermaid Coffee Bar" established January 2012. Our original plan was to have real Mermaids serving freshly brewed concoctions for all of our locals and new customers; however, there is a shortage of Mermaids this time of year. Therefore, we chose some very cute, efficient, happy Barista's to take their place until next Mermaid season. Keep hoping!
In case you're wondering why we named it "The Mermaid Coffee Bar", it is an extension of our full time company that has been totally involved in the Ocean for Whale and Dolphin watching and sportfishing for over 25 years. We have been a large part of Balboa Peninsula since December 1, 1987 and have been growing and building our company since then.
