I had the pleasure of dining at this Amish buffet after an exhausting 8-mile hike, and it was the perfect reward for my tired legs. The variety of dishes they offered was impressive, ranging from chicken and beef to pork, shrimp, and fish. Just a heads up, though, soda isn’t included in the buffet. When it comes to dessert, they didn’t disappoint either. I savored a delightful selection of pies and cakes that truly hit the sweet spot. But what made this dining experience truly exceptional was the host’s warm and welcoming smile, along with their lightning-fast service. It’s those little touches that make a meal memorable. Parking was a breeze with ample space, and they even had a gift shop on-site, adding to the charm of the place. Plus, if you’re up for it, there’s an antique store nearby, making it a perfect spot to walk off all that delicious food. I highly recommend this Amish buffet for a satisfying post-hike feast with great service and some added shopping options.
This has by far been my favorite buffet in a long time! Came while on vacation and the food was delicious! A lot of comfort type food.... roast beef, pork loin, mashed potatoes, baked brussel sprouts which were amazing!, salmon, salad, etc...... the staff was super friendly and the restaurant was clean!Food: 5/5
100% recommended! Cute restaurant with lots of amazing food along with all you can eat buffet. Service was really nice, plenty of parking even if you are towing a RV and the bathrooms were spotless. Definitely recommend their fried chicken!Food: 5/5
This is a place you don't want to miss out on! Great homemade food and I'm not joking. The buffet choice of meat is so tender, turkey, chicken, roast beef. Real mashed potatoes no box one's. Pies taste delicious too!Food: 5/5
Excellent food! We enjoyed this place so much that we ate here twice! The petting zoo right outside is so cool Kid-friendliness: Very friendly to our son and found lots of options he could eat on the buffet.
Food that comes with good feels :. Gets very busy, but we went around 3 and didn’t have to wait. Make sure to try their pies. It was the best part!!
Really good food and a great server. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars is that the ribs were extremely chewy. But all the rest was delicious.Food: 4/5
This restaurant is always crowded and for good reason - the food is excellent. I’m not a big buffet person but because we had 16 people we all ordered the buffet. All the food was fresh and replenished frequently. And, there was a ton of different foods. The best was the broasted chicken. Everyone in our party loved the chicken. There was also roasted Turkey, salmon, fried shrimp, roast beef, pulled pork, mashed potatoes, green beans, Brussel sprouts, corn, beets, gravy, fresh rolls, macaroni and cheese, noodles, stuffed peppers, chicken pasta, salad bar, macaroni salad, Cole slaw and a full dessert bar which had a variety of pies and ice cream on request. They also had sugar free options. Our waitress who was our only waitress was so good. Our glasses were never empty. As you walk in there is a gift shop with tons of reasonably priced merchandise missy of which focused around the hocking hills.
There is a wait, but you will be rewarded. I enjoyed my meal very much. I had the buffet and tried a little bit of everything. The ribs were a little dry, but everything else was great! The staff did a great job getting people in and out fast.
Everything about this place is good!! If you like down home cooking, you'll like The Olde Dutch.Food: 5/5
