We went to Furnitureland South and met Sherry Howell. She was so kind and very helpful. We would not let us settle for the furniture we pick until she showed us other Brands and options. We ended up going with the furniture we originally pick. We received it on Saturday after months of waiting for it and Sherry informed us of the wait, which we were fine with. We love the furniture.
Wonderful experience working with Natalie Lenahan at Furnitureland South! Found beautiful pieces for our new home and would definitely recommend choosing a design consultant to help guide you. There is so much to choose from and it helps navigate such an enormous space! Very pleased with my decision to travel to NC to shop.
I’ll start with the positives. The furniture we received was beautiful and good quality. The delivery team was great when that furniture was delivered. The negatives. Please make sure you are aware of what the product number for the furniture you are purchasing is. We ordered furniture in January when it was finally delivered in July, the night stands were wrong. Turns out our design consultant ordered the wrong night stands back in January. We had gone through the store with the consultant and pointed out what we wanted but that was never what was ordered. When we told the delivery team they immediately got onto the phone with customer service and started a ticket to get the correct ones sent to us. I also at that time reached out to our design consultant who stated she would give me a call later and it must be a manufacturer issue. Never did we receive a call or an apology. We ordered a chair for our living room that we picked fabric for that day. I was told when we placed our order that I would be contacted by our design consultant in a few days to get turn around times for everything we purchased. After about a week and a half I reached out to her asking about timelines. She then told me that the fabric we picked was not going to work with the chair. There was nothing else like here are fabric samples you can pick from/where to find them after getting that information from her, I ordered a few samples to be sent to us. It took about two months for those samples to arrive. I checked in frequently with the consultant during this time and did not get any helpful information on how long it would take. Tried to call the company directly but since I am not an employee of furniture land south they would not speak with me and told me to contact furniture land south. Once the samples arrived I quickly picked one and the order was updated. Online it said the chair would be delivered to the warehouse September 2023 we ordered in January. That day came and went and the chair never arrived to the warehouse. Two weeks later I get a call from the design consultant about our nightstands delivered in July and about the chair. The manufacturer had cancelled the order for the chair because they didn’t have the fabric we picked. Our options were to get a refund or pick another fabric. We opted for the refund because we’re 9 months out from the time we ordered and could get it from somewhere else with a faster turn around time. Completely disappointed with the company in general and how they handled our case. I realize they’re a big store and very busy but I will never recommend them to any of my friends or family
We came to FLS back in February. Met up with a sales rep. Who took us to the area where we were interested. Then she left and never came back. She called us when we were on our way out of the store. We came back in June and met Sherry Howell. She was awesome. Stayed with us the whole time. We were pretty sure what we wanted, but Sherry had us look at other brands just to make sure we did not order, then regret it by not looking at other furniture similar to what we wanted. She even sent us home to think about it before putting in the order. No pressure. She wanted to make sure we were completely happy with what we purchased and not just settling. And yes, I saw a review complaining about the wait time. We do not have a problem with waiting to get what we want. We look forward to getting our new living room furniture.
We had the best experience purchasing our sofa from Furnitureland South. The showrooms are full of beautiful selections in a wide range of prices and styles. Cornelia was our sales associate, and she was so patient throughout the entire process. The delivery was timely and smooth, and our new sofa is exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend Furnitureland South for anyone in the market for furniture. You won’t be disappointed!
It was good until it wasn’t. 15 months to receive a living room couch. Ottoman is wrong and told them 4 months prior it is wrong. They told me 2 more months to replace but I get a $400 gift card to use at their store. Sales lady definitely doesn’t like being wrong and is very defensive. I spent a lot of money here because my interior designer recommended.
The experience we had at Furniture Land South was exceptional! Linda Clodfelter did an awesome job of helping us to design and chose the furniture for our new home that's being built. Her design background , knowledge and professionalism is outstanding. I highly recommend her when visiting furniture land south. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Linda! Looking forward to our next project,with Linda!
Throughly enjoyed my shopping experience at Furnitureland South! Could spend hours here and I did! I mostly stayed to the outlet but was able to find a unique and modern dining table and chairs. They have quite the range of styles and I was happy with the selection. Already planning my trip back!
We are extremely pleased with our furniture buying experience. Gary listened to what we wanted and needed and guided us to appropriate choices. He also gave us great input on the fabric selections. And he is very personable and easy to work with. We can’t wait for our furniture to arrive.
We are building a house and wanted to buy quality furniture at a reasonable price. We had the BEST experience. The 3 day trip was everything we had imagined. Our designers, Grace Williams and Caroline Youngdale were exceptional. There were no gimmicks, no sales pitches. They were truly there to make our vision come to life. We stayed at the Grandover resort which was awesome and 15 minutes away. All prices were discounted 20-40% off retail. They do all of the work once you order and gather your items to deliver and set-up in our home. So glad we made the trip from Atlanta.
