The Reforming Church is the place where life takes on new FORM! We are not advocates of Religion but rather advocates of RELATIONSHIP
In 2006, Prophet Shane and Prophetess Shirelle Bryant went in search to find a new church home. During this time, God began to deal with Prophet Shane and Prophetess Shirelle about planting a church. They began to seek God for instructions. In 2011, they began to meet with a team of four core leaders in the living room of their home to pray about the direction they were to take.
On September 8, 2011 United Kingdom Apostolic Ministries was launched in the Red Roof Inn in Locust Grove, GA. Shortly after moved into a larger space at the LaQuinta Inn. In 2013, God prompted the senior pastor to change the name from UKAM to The Reforming Church. After changing the name, they later understood that reforming the people was a part of the culture of the church. The Reforming Church moved from Locust Grove to McDonough, GA in January of 2015.
Throughout the years, the vision has never changed:
"We will be a catalyst for reformation of lives. We will provide a clear concise approach to the application of biblical truths, while exemplifying a transformed life. We seek to be effective in the communities in which we reside. Our hearts desire is to see Jesus Christ fully formed in the lives of people. We are not advocates of religion but rather relationships. We believe, it is in the confines of relationship that one is changed and transformed. Therefore we seek to connect the lost to a savior, the sick to a doctor, and the redeemed back to their redeemer.
VISION:
The Reforming Church continues to expand as the vision is being fulfilled.
The Reforming Church gathers on Sunday Mornings at 8:00 AM and Thursday Night Bible study at 7:30 PM. We invite you to worship with us during one of our worship experiences. Please be our guest!
We the Re-forming Church will accomplish our vision by regularly providing whollistic enrichment. This will be done through weekly bible studies, leadership conferences and weekly worship services. It is clear without the knowledge to change we will ultimately remain the same. We will be examples by extending Godly counsel, love, encouragement and support. We will place the relationship with God above everything else. The bible tells us that it is not his desire that one should perish but all should come to repentance, II Peter 3:9 (KJV). Therefore we will excuse any opportunity to share God’s love and express his heart to those we interact with.
