LOVED IT! Outdoor seating is absolutely beautiful! We went for lunch on a Thursday. Service was quick and our waitress was kind. The spinach and bacon quiche was great! Husband enjoyed the po boy. I can't wait to see what the patio looks like lit up at night!
Attention to detail. Thats what makes this place. A friendly welcome, in house fries, homemade black bean burgers, live music, sweet tea. Rustic feel and outdoor seating. This is comfort food and its all about the experience. Thanks guys for a great meal!
First visit great food, lovely outdoor dining environment, great service. Second visit entirely different. Service was at best mediocre - beer glass arrived with lipstick all over it & it took a good 10 minutes to be replaced with no apology. We had to ask for condinents. We ordered caesar salads and crab cakes - salads were limp with small chunks of untoasted stale bread serving as croutons, shrimp on salad had a strange odor and crab cakes were so mushy as to seem almost uncooked. We did not send any food back but did express dissatisfaction overall. Again no apologies. Very disappointing. Doubt we will return or recommend in the future. Third & fourth visits. Everything was great so maybe the one off-trip was just a bad server or maybe it just depends what you order. Anyway avoid the crab cakes but don't miss the excellent garlicky truffle fries!
Limited menu. Husband has to really look to find something to order. I have only ordered the Shrimp &Grits and they are delicious. Husband selected bacon wrapped pork tenderloin with no sauce and different sides. He said it was good. The atmosphere is strange. A band was doing sound check when we arrived. The waitress said it would be a while before they started playing. With that we stayed. The decor leaves a lot to be desired. We were seated at a small table back in a storage alcove. Do they want to be a bar or a nice restaurant? I don't see how you could have an enjoyable meal with the band playing.
We came on a Thursday evening and enjoyed live music in the outdoor seating area. I ordered the wild mushroom ravioli and my partner ordered the slow braised beef. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Our needs were met quickly and the food was amazing.
Unexpectedly large indoor and outdoor facility based on curbside view. Excellent menu with high end cuisine choices with specialty drinks and full bar / large wine offerings. You will pay a bit more, however it is money well spent. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this dinner experience and will return and again on a regular basis. I only have one concern and that is desert, not at the same level as the rest of the meal, could be better.
The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. We sat out on the porch, which was pleasantly shaded in the evening. The quality of the food was well worth the price, and according to our waiter the dessert menu changes regularly. The peanut butter circulate cake was rich and tasty.
Cozy little restaurant located on the edge of a strip mall. The atmosphere is casual and laid back. They have live music on certain nights. Very nice outdoor seating area as well. The food is very good and they have a vast wine selections. This restaurant is a good place for a group of family or friends to just sit and catch up. The restaurant is a little more expensive than casual restaurants in Aiken, however it is worth it.
Not bad. Wait staff was a little weak, but then it was somewhat busy. Entertainment was good. Food was ok but a little pricey. My fish and chips was 85% chips which is good if you like french fries. However , I expect to pay considerably less than $18 for what amounted to an extra large order of fries. The tuxedo cake is still very good, but not as good as years past. Not sure why the supplier felt the need to mess with perfection. Will be back but I hope to see improvements.
Food was excellent, we were a party of 4 adults arriving at 7pm on a Thursday. A few tables inside, but not busy. We all ordered entrees, one with a salad as well. When after 35 minutes the salad hadn't arrived, we flagged down the server to ask about it. She said, oh...I thought you might want it with your entree? Who gets their salad and their entree at the same time when ordering both? The salad was then brought to the table a few minutes later, but we still had no silverware, so she was unable to eat it. 2 minutes later, the entrees arrived. We were still awaiting the silverware. The server went for the silverware, but apparently got distracted along the way. We finally walked over to the bar and got some from the bartender. 45 minutes in, we got to eat. Salads and all. Again, the food was great, service....not so much.
