They advertise like crazy that you don't need good credit to buy here. WRONG! I went in to buy a simple full size bed mattress/box spring/frame. It was a good Serta firm mattress, they were willing to throw in delivery & the frame all for less than $600. Now comes the bad part - trying to get approved for their 90 day/same as cash plan. First, their "finance" department an area behind the counter, told me their outside finance company required a bank account active for at least one year, a $25 application fee, then demanded my bank checking account number and routing number, which I reluctantly gave them. They couldn't seem to verify my account have been with my local Chase bank over 1 year. They next demanded a 90 day statement plus verification of at least 5 bank transactions per month they couldn't seem to explain to be why the number of bank transactions was important - said it was not their policy but the finance company they use. Frustrated, I walked out of there, letting the salesman know he just lost a commission & that I would never go in there again.
Hate their sales people. If you are one day late you get a lecture. I keep telling them I get paid 4th wednesday every month the date is different that's the way social security does it. They won't help me set it like for the first. The man in rac is not very polite or helpful
