The Walking Company

I have been following their website and online ads for a while. There were a few styles of shoes I was interested in but since I have finicky feet, I wanted to try them on first. Since I was close to the Maine Mall, I decided to go check out this store. The staff was friendly and helpful but they didn't have the specific styles I was interested in. They helped me try on several other styles but none of them quite worked. I ended up buying a pair of no show dress socks. :-

I bought a pair of boots here for work. I have to have a silent step, and they squeaked. It was awful. But I loved them- so they exchanged them, and I’ve had no issues. Great shoes- great service. Very nice people. Thank you!

This place is a rip off! Every pair of “custom” shoes has the exact same hard rubber sole. They just try to upsell you some 50$ insoles along with it. If your going to make a purchase here I advise you only buy the insoles and don’t fall into there little racket. BRING A VALID ID! They demanded to see a form of identification along with my credit card purchase due to “company policy” but after calling customer service I have concluded that I was simply profiled by the already unhelpful and pushy staff. I was so appalled by this that I returned my items moments later. If your a man they only Carry about 15 different styles of shoes.

So nice and helpful! I had ordered a pair online and they didn't fit. I took them to the physical store to return and was very happy with how they treated me.

Disappointed.. On the net it says to go there for specific shoes, made special trip, to have them tell me they are in middle of season and do not have any

This is by far my favorite Walking Company store. Staff and selection above par.

Will be buying my sneakers here now!! Bye bye, Nike!
