Prices are fair for downtown parking. Ample parking spaces. Close to the north shore. The downsides are that it is a pretty tight garage as far as the driving lane is concerned. Navigating the garage in general can also be slightly confusing. Also has a height limit of 7' 2".
It's a good place to park. Needs more elevators. Be prepared to wait after your show gets out. I understand the likelihood of the Pittsburgh Parking Authority adding elevators to an existing building is slim... But I can dream.
PAY FOR YOUR TICKET IN THE LOBBY BEFORE YOU GO TO THE SHOW, unless it's before 4pm. Very convenient place to park when catching a show in the Cultural District. It's one-way all the way through, and the floors are a bit unusual. The up floors are all odd numbered and the down floors are all even numbered. There are crossovers on several of the lower floors so you don't have to go through the entire garage to get out. You'll be asked to leave if you hang around on the roof.
Rates have gone up to a STAGGERING $20 for parking on weekends. If you’re seeing a show in the Cultural District, start finding another place to park and let them know you’re not paying it.
Well you can’t pay cash. And I had my ticket. Was the for 30-45 mins and had to pay $20 cause I wanted to pay cash. Absolutely not cool
This parking facility allows people to walk to the second floor and call for the elevator, preventing it from coming to the first floor and leaving elderly and handicapped to stand in a very crowded lobby after a show for long periods of time without a chance of getting on the elevator. A simple solution would be to have someone on the second floor to prevent those walking up the stairs from pushing the button or there should be some way to have the elevator always go to the first floor before heading back up. My elderly friends and I have stood there while this has occurred 3 times in a row. Of course this also means we have a harder time getting out of the parking spaces and encounter more traffic.
Worst parking experience ever!!! You have to pay for you parking in a lobby before leaving and after a concert at PNC there was one attendant and no working ticket machines. Stood in line for over an hour to pay for the parking pass before even being able to go to the car. So dumb!!!
So close to all the theaters. Pre bought parking pass and it was worth the money. It was NYEve and even with road closures, we drove right up and in the garage. Clean. Felt safe. Highly recommend.
Really easy to get to, and really easy to get to everything in the Cultural District if you park here. Well lit. And it says in the elevators that there is camera surveillance as well. Still advised to not leave valuables. Take them with you, or lock them in your trunk.
Garage was nice & clean. We almost couldn't find our car because its tricky, but overall it was nice to pre-pay for the parking when going to a show at the Benedum. I picked my tickets up at Will Call & they had the pre-paid ticket in my envelope to use when I exited the garage. I would do this again when I buy tickets for a show.
