Your services were excellent. Mr. Greg Edwards was an outstanding. Courteous, and professional person which he made all family members comfortable. Your staffs were very customer service oriented. On behalf of late John Holden family, I want to thank the Thompson Funeral Home.
Our family member my stepson had a very unfortunate accident while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. None of us are from SC and know nothing about the area. He had to be transported to Columbia for organ donation and we had to rely on reviews to choose who to use. Luckily for me I looked at Google reviews. Greg at Thompson funeral homes in Columbia went above and beyond to make this as simple and pain free for us as he could. Losing any one is hard, the hardest thing you will ever go through. Losing your father when you just turned 18 and are the designated next of kin responsible for signing forms etc it beyond. Greg made this seamless for us. We will be forever grateful for his professionalism, can do attitude and never leaving us in the dark.
The funeral director, Brittney was awesome. She understood exactly what our family wanted for the celebration of life. She went beyond all expectations to make the event special.
The service our family received was done very professionally & Travis Youmans did a great job helping us plan our mother’s funeral & was always available via email or phone every time I needed him. Thank you to all who helped take care of our needs during this time of grief. Thompson’s Funeral Home has a nice facility & I would recommend them when the time comes for your family to need their services.

Our experience with Thompson was very special during a very sad time for our family. Mr. Travis Youmans was our director who guided us very professionally but with such tenderness through the process. Everyone we worked with was so kind and helpful with wonderful communication. The follow up care was unexpected but has been incredibly appreciated. Strange to say but I would gladly use Thompson in the future. Sincerely!
Travis was so wonderful!!! He was kind, knowledgeable and my family couldn’t be more grateful to have had him during this very hard time. Our mom couldn’t even come to the funeral home due to the circumstances around my fathers passing so me, my sister and brother had to make the arrangements. Travis made this process bearable. I would recommend him to anyone!
Mr. Travis Youmans was exemplary in all of his meticulous and thoughtful care for us as we planned our mother's send off in the way she wanted. We were extremely pleased with his sensitivity, and attention to detail. He and all the staff we encountered were very, very pleasant, accommodating and generous. They poured into us like they were family. Mr. Youmans and the Thompsons funeral home staff left lasting, warm, and smiling impressions on our grieving hearts. We are forever grateful!
