Tin Can East Lansing

Tin Can East Lancing is a good place to relax, enjoy some games, watch sports while enjoying some bar food. My first time here didn’t include the night life aspect but I just wanted a drink and something for lunch. I thoroughly enjoy their mac and cheeseburger as well as their breaded wings and I get it almost every single time I’m hungry here. Depending on the day, sometimes the bar can get day busy but at night it’s a lot livelier. Bar food is great, a lot of fried snacks, burgers, wings, pizza, this restaurant/ bar does offer a lot. I know it doesn’t sound the healthiest bar but they do offer slightly healthier options like wraps. They have a good selection of beers and local beers and they almost always have pudding shots which are fun that always come in different flavors. It is a nice alternative to jello shots. But of course, they don’t just offer beer but they have straight liquor too, so a little something for everyone. The best way to park here is paid parking and probably catching a, “cab.” As far as the night life goes, it can get pretty busy, it’s a popular spot near MSU campus

I absolutely love the faygo bombs speciality they have here - it's my favorite go-to bar for light drinking and a good time with friends. Food's okayish tho and the staff can be a bit rigid sometimes on busy days.Food: 4/5

First time here. Wife was here with our daughter and her boyfriend and raved about the stuffed burger. We shared one - was amazing. Did a few shots and hung out for a bit before catching a Lyft back. Dave was covering the bar and was great.Food: 5/5

The floor was not sticky, so that was a nice surprise. Very cool hole in the wall. It was very clean. The bartender was nice and the punch cards are an interesting concept. However, the shots were terrible. Which I guess is ok because they were cheap. But if your focus is on shots I'd really think they would at least taste good. They have a 3 shot limit. Not fair for more experienced drinkers ‍

Girl behind bar with long nails and dark hair was not welcoming, friendly, and was rude. We were going to buy shots but left because of her uncharismatic manner.

Their burger special was totally worth coming in for. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was good a reasonably priced. I fully expected a large beer selection, and they didn't disappoint. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Overall a great visit.

Pizza was ok. Nice crust. But a little bland on the toppings. 2.8. / Only beer in cans. Hence, the name of the place. D'oh! 3.5 After all, beer is beer. / For some reason, atmosphere is a 5. Just the place I was looking for tonight. / Overall 4.

Zey and Alex always make pong nights at tin can East Lansing enjoyable and are so great at making sure myself and the other customers have their drinks made well and fast! So thankful to have their service in my experiences in East Lansing

I celebrated my birthday this past week and one of our stops was Tin Can. We loved playing water pong and being able to control music on the jukebox. Both the blonde and brunette bartenders helped us pick out tasty shots for me as I don’t like it when they taste too much like alcohol. We also started a shot tour which I thought was really cool probably won’t finish it but still cool. I don’t know any other bars that do that down here in Virginia! We will definitely be coming back again
