Description

Dr. Lee grew up in a nutrition and exercise focused home. His parents saw the value in nurturing his curious nature and bought him his first computer at the age of 5. Excelling at both standardized tests and athletics, Dr. Lee received several scholarships to help pay for his education at The University of Michigan. During this time period he made ends meet by working as a substance abuse counselor, janitor, pizza delivery driver, alcoholism hotline operator, and waiter.
After graduating from U of M with a Biochemistry/Psych degree, Dr. Lee was accepted to Wayne State University School of Medicine to pursue his graduate degree. While awaiting acceptance into medical school, Dr. Lee focused on his ambitions in the field of Neuropsychopharmacology. Dr. Lee's focus in medical school was Neurosurgery at Henry Ford, but a love of fitness and nutrition led to an interest in Sports Medicine.
Durring his residency at St. Joseph Mercy, Dr. Lee began training and competing in the sports of power lifting and bodybuilding. Dr. Lee used his knowledge of proper nutrition and human anatomy to excel at these sports while helping to impact several of his patients to lose weight and drop unnecessary medications. Dr. Lee has found an immense amount of self satisfaction and happiness using his knowledge and skill set to successfully aide his clients in achieving their fitness goals and improving their quality of life.
