Torres Bike Shop is great! Took my bike there to have one of the crank arms replaced, and a full tune up done. They did an excellent job, and were reasonably priced as well. I also thought the service was great. Both people that I interacted with were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend Torres Bike Shop to others.
Its a nice place. Its closer than most bike shops for myself. But when I went there to get a new inner tube. I woke up the next morning to a flat. I didn't even had a chance to ride it considering i'm over the bridge from this shop and took the safest possible route to get back home. But to come find out in the morning that there's a flat really sets me back. For someone who needs there bike to commute to work. I don't want to take my business else where for it was recommended by someone who gave me this bike that I currently ride. But this would make twice that these tires went flat on me. I do know my terrains and what this bike can handle too. So i'm somewhat stuck with a tough situation here. Where should i gamble on trying to see if i should get another inner tube here and see how long that will last or just walk to work 25miles there and back.
I walked in here looking for a bike and walked out with a Micargi Emmy Beach Cruiser. They adjusted it to how i needed with me being 6’0 and made sure I was happy before i bought anything. They are all very nice and I will be coming here for all of my bike needs. They keep the shop very clean and organized and I am happy that I went here and made my purchase.
Pretty much the worst Terrible customer service. I went twice looking for a few things. No one there gave a straight answer and a couple times mechanic actually lied and said the size my bike needed didn't exist. felt like they didn't actually know the answers to my questions so they just lied and tried to sell me a whole new bike instead. Whole thing felt misleading. Mechanic looks like he does sturdy, dependable work but all the bikes I saw for sale there were grossly impractical. Like and an adult bike that's 2feet high or overpriced beach cruisers. I'm a former bike messenger/ cross-country bike rider Such a waste of time.
Friendly service, great prices, good selection of accessories, new and used bikes available for purchasing!
The shop is easily accessible from a main street. It's a Friendly, clean and orderly Family business. It has something for everyone. Latest wheels for skate boarders; great bikes and frames for the family. The gentlemen is very knowledgeable of bikes and its stores parts. He goes beyond and above just giving you what you ask for. He's willing to compare better parts for your equipment when you don't know to ask. I did but he beat me to the punch and I'm grateful. You will bit be disappointed when you visit this shop!
This is a great place! The people there was very helpful and well knowledgeable of their products. Aka, bike parts. And they gave great service. I will continue to go back to have them work and service my bike! Great Job guys
It's true you may not receive the detailed level of service of a high end shop but the care they've given my mtn bike used for about town transpo has always been great. My old shop charged $150-$300 for a tune up which included everything from replacing chain to cables, Torres charges me around $50 and they only replace parts that really need to be replaced imminently. Their parts and labor charges are so cheap I can afford to bring it in as needed for repairs and not pay huge sums up front for preventative. Prices for parts are shockingly cheap. Of course changing a flat is a bit pricey though still relatively inexpensive by industry standards but that's something you should really consider doing on your own anyway. I've been dealing with the daughter who manages the front and the older father who does the repairs for 2 years now and I give them high marks for taking care of me and my bike.
i didn't have to go to the store for this review, this is how it went down. need to paint my bike to sell it looking for a chain-tool so i go to walmart bought a tool that broke on me in 3 seconds called the bike shop to ask if they have a chain tool the girl who answered the phone was no help at all a real pisser moral of the story, bad attitude = honest review
Took my old schwinn 10 speed and they brought it back to life for a reasonable price. Very kind and nice people
