They worked with us to find pants in our size at a price point that didn't break the bank. The sales assistant was absolutely lovely, and I will visit this one again with no problem!
So, I was scrolling through my old reviews and saw this pop up. I do not feel judged when I enter with or without my wife with me. Always greeted by the cashier when we enter and they ask if we are looking for anyrhing
LOVE the clothing options at Torrid. I can't tolerate the sales staff at the Fairview Heights location. There is one employee-she's brash and tries to be funny. I'm shopping for clothes, I'm not looking for entertainment. If she is working when I shop, I just shop elsewhere. She's not even 5' tall, but her mouth more than makes up for that. She needs to learn! It is because of her personality that I shop elsewhere or buy online and ship to home. Seesh.
The staff at Torrid are always so wonderful. Every torrid employee I’ve met has been so helpful and kind in picking something stylish for me. As a plus sized girl, this place has been a life saver. I felt like the only stores that existed were unfashionable baggy clothes for plus sized women. This place has trendy clothes but they do come with a hefty price. The best time to buy their clothes is in their costumer appreciation week where everything in the store is 50% off. Most of their clothes are $25-$60 PER item. It’s not a store you can fill your wardrobe with because of the hefty price but it’s nice to add 1 or 2 to your collection every once and a while. Their dressing rooms are set up with a beautiful mirror surrounded by lights and they personalize your dressing room by writing your name on a white board on the door. They give you advice and answer questions and make the whole experience more then just buying clothes but a fun mall shopping spree. This location is wonderful, the staff is wonderful, and if only the prices could be as wonderful as the people, clothes, and store are.

I always love shopping here. Anytime I get a new piece of clothing from here I am probably the happiest woman alive! I got my swimsuit from here as well as each of my shorts I've been wearing almost exclusively this summer, and I've gotten one or two tops that fit me amazingly. They always have my size; my swim top was the only thing I've ever had to visit another store to get and it was well worth it. The employees are also wonderful, they are always incredibly helpful and friendly and they really do everything they can to help you find something. I almost never give a 5 star review on anything, but as I am a recurring customer and have never once had a single problem with this place, they've earned it!
I love taking my wife shopping. The ladies in torrid are always so friendly and helpful!!
The employees were helpful and gave advice on what would look best or what would make a good outfit without pushing you to make choices outside of your budget.
I love this store! The staff is very helpful and friendly. We were shopping for my daughter on this visit and our sales lady was very thorough. She asked a lot of questions about what we were looking for and the styles she liked. She made a lot of great suggestions and we will definitely be returning. The prices can be a little higher than some stores but these clothes are made for larger women and fit very flatteringly making it so worth it. They had some great sales going on too. I am looking forward to shopping here again!
This shop is definitely on the smaller side, however theres still plenty of clothing variety. The sale rack in the back left of the store is my best buddy, since the clothing is quite expensive. The staff is a hit and miss for the most part. Sometimes you'll get someone great and helpful, other times you'll get someone dismissive and cranky. Overall great store for plus size clothing.
