The Town of Geneva Police Department is located in south eastern Wisconsin in Walworth County. It operates as a full time agency 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The town employs six full time officers to include the Chief of Police and the Sergeant. The town is made up of 36 square miles and has a population of approximately 5,000 people. Its police officers are dispatched through Walworth County Communications. Surrounding agencies include the City of Lake Geneva, Town of Linn, Village of Williams Bay, Town of Delavan, and the City of Elkhorn. A few landmarks located in the town include Lakeland Aurora Medical Center, Mercy Walworth Hospital, Woods School, Geneva National Golf Club, Hawks View Golf Club, and Como Lake.
The mission of the Town of Geneva Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in the Town of Geneva by providing the highest quality of service to the Citizens we serve. We are committed to working cooperatively with the public and other agencies to preserve peace, protect life and property, reduce fear of crime, and provide needed services to the Township.
We believe that human life is sacrosanct. We will defend it with all our abilities. We use the minimum amount of force necessary in all situations that escalate above open dialog. We believe that integrity is the basis for personal and public trust. We will not compromise others or ourselves. We believe our diversity is the strength that moves us towards excellence.
