Amazing customer service at Trek Bicycle in Redmond. I brought my bike in on a Friday afternoon with no appointment due to a sizing/fit adjustment I needed. Thinking I'd have to leave the bike or bring it back at another time, I was very surprised when they immediately worked to not only address the fit problem but also noticed that my brake pad was slightly rubbing against the tire and although these particular Shimano brakes are a little challenging to adjust, this issue was addressed as well. They didn't charge me a penny. I should add that I didn't purchase the bike at this location however it didn't make a difference to these guys. Great service and friendly guys!
The staff at the Redmond location were incredibly helpful and nice. Josh was super friendly and helpful. He helped my husband and me out from our test ride to making our first purchase. Can’t thank him enough! I highly recommend the Redmond location for your Trek needs!
Updated to 2 stars. We were able to return the bike after escalation to regional management, and were refunded for the tires. I probably won’t return to the service department as long as it’s Andrew, but the store is close to my house and convenient so I’d probably grab parts and accessories there. Previous review: Unfortunately, need to take my review from 2 stars to 1 star. Pros: Katie. That’s about it. She’s a gem at customer service Cons: Trek service department, other sales people Situation 1: I purchased a bike for my wife, and was advised to buy a 56cm. She indicated discomfort from day 1, but was guaranteed it would work with some adjustments. We were optimistic and have tried very hard to make this bike work for her. Trek adjusted the seat position and put a shorter stem, and she was in pain after one short ride. She went back in within the 30-day guarantee while I was on a work trip to discuss that she didn’t think this bike was right for her, and was gaslit into keeping it. She couldn’t even bend her arms due to reach issues, and was told there was nothing more they could do and it’s fine. Fast forward months, we’ve had multiple fitters take a look after a lengthy wait to schedule, and have been advised she needs a smaller frame more than once. Now we’re having issues getting anything more than an exchange, when we aren’t even sure Trek fits her needs. Situation 2: I was converting my CX bike into a commuter for the summer, and went in asking for tubeless tires. I was sold a set of Bontrager AW3 hard case lite tires, and asked for them installed. I came back and only found out they weren’t set up tubeless when the service counter tried to charge me for tubes. When I inquired as to why it wasn’t set up tubeless as we originally discussed, they agreed to fix it. It was flat the next day, and I left my last review. Trek called me the next day, offered store credit which was never applied. As inconvenient as that was, it was even worse to end up with a tire leaking sealant all over my house. Turns out, these tires AREN’T tubeless compatible. And nobody checked- 3 Trek employees, including a mechanic, and nobody caught that. Not to mention the sheer confidence with which I was told these tires are tubeless compatible when I bought them. Situation 3: shopping for waterproof pants for my wife. She’s tall- 5’9 to be exact, so many pant brands are too short. When she inquired about options for taller riders, the sales person recommended a Men’s XL and a brand we needed to special order. FYI- she ended up with the women’s version in that brand, in a women’s Medium. Just plain incompetent. I don’t know what more to say here. Trek needs to honor their 30-day commitment on the bike we said wasn’t working from the start with a cash refund, and consider listening to women rather than gaslighting. Women are not small men. And train your sales associates. It’s not excusable to get something as basic as whether a tire is tubeless compatible wrong.
Guys at this shop are great! I had problem with my none Trek e-bike. They took their time to help me and did not even charge anything. Big thumbs up for Trek Redmond.
This store is amazing, since it is not a franchise and a direct representation of TREK as i was told. They were most professional and at the same time very friendly. I am definitely coming back as my training continues.. They don't upsell will patiently listen to what your needs are and take their time to tell you the ones that you need I loved how the team at Redmond Trek came together understood my needs and helped me buy the right bike for my pursuits.. customizing it with price and performance and goals in mind. The best part about buying from Trek is definitely the interactions with people at the Trek store. I ended up buying a Trek Domane SL6 with etap SRAM force and red components. I also bought a Trek Domane Sl5 with 105 as a gift for a very close friend of mine. Thanks Trek
What an awesome experience! The staff here was fantastic working with my family and me. They put a significant amount of effort into helping us find the right bikes for us and getting the bikes set-up so we were ready to go right out of the shop. My daughter was right at the edge of two sizes and the team spent quite a bit of time configuring a bike that she could grow with but still be comfortable and build confidence now. We were never pushed to more expensive items. Highly recommend this store. Honest, caring & attentive team here.
Trek Bicycle in Redmond is awesome. Great bikes and equally important a great team of folks like their manager Kurt and associates like Preston, who’s really friendly, super knowledgable and always goes the extra mile to make sure that my experience there is fantastic! I’ve bought several bikes and loads of accessories there and it’s always a great experience. Definitely recommend Trek Redmond as a great bike shop!
I had a great experience with trex bike, Redmond. My kid's bike had problems with brakes and frame alignment. I went in and Daniel started working on it. No questions asked. It took a good part of 1 hr to get it all fixed. Impeccable job. They refused to charge me for it. It was not about business. It was about taking care of community. Thank you team!
One of these days, I probably need to get the manager's name, but every time I've been in, he's always super helpful, great at explaining the things that a noob like me needs to know, always takes more time than I feel he probably should, etc. Super customer service. There are other bike shops closer to me, but I'll always come back here.
These folks are great! Have a dinosaur bike that needed a new tire rim, new brake pads and brake adjustment. They helped me immediately and didn't even charge me for labor. They are my go-to for anything bike related and will tell all my biking friends.
