Triangle Park, in downtown Lexington, fans out to envelop the beholder into the tranquility of soft waterfalls, wide stone promenades lined with Honey Locust trees, pottery filled with blooming flowers, and expanses of green grass surrounded by tables.

Description

Triangle Park officially opened to the public on July 2, 1982. The landscape designer for the park was well known landscape architect Robert L. Zion of New York.

Been coming here for going on 30 years, it's had some changes, but still a nice park to rest nestled right downtown. Just wish the fountains were on more, maintenance I'm guessing, but nice place. :
We saw this nice little park in the center of town - it definitely drew us in to walk over there and check it out. Looks like it is well utilized by locals. Very stunning water feature, especially when lit up at night.

Beat park, with the best views of the city! I love the fountains, you're not supposed to get in there and swim but it's peaceful just to sit there & put your feet in & relax. Triangle park is the best. Specially being smack dab in the middle of downtown. I love my city
Lovely park with a beautiful water feature.
Great city park adjacent to Rupp Arena and good food places. Great for a quick walk through or sitting on provided tables. Water wall looks awesome day and night. Kids can play in smaller fountain and can lounge on beautiful grass area. New restaurant coming soon.
This park is awesome and well designed fot the community here. It reminded me of home in Chattanooga but they don't have a professional football stadium or baseball team. The Red's do come during off season to play there. So, much to do here, architecture, history, art etc. What's not to like
Beautiful Park and scenery.. FYI... There's alot of homeless people that hangout here. However, they don't bother ya....Enjoy!!!
Nice place to get out of the house and get a cold one plenty of bars and places to eat or a spot to sit and conversation check it out its pretty nice
Great a place to spend time especially during Christmas time with ice skating. A lot of lights and quiet during the late hours
