Expansive park with an aquatic center, tennis courts, disc golf, walking trail, lots of shelters, baseball field, and of course, an awesome playground. It has lots of tunnels and nooks and crannies for kids to hide in. Lots of spinning parts and some high slides. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this playground if you’re a helicopter parent- you will have a conniption. But if you can handle it, the kids will love to climb and jump and twirl and swing and run and play with the water feature. They will have a blast!
My favorite go-to spot with my pup. Plenty of green spaces, trails, and parking spots for you and for your friends and family to come over! I love bringing my hiking chair and my pup’s toys here to hang out and play fetch with him.
Needs security. I have loved walking this park for many years. The park itself has many features from all varieties of ball courts and fields to swimming, tennis, disc golf, kids playground, many shelters with outdoor grilling, etc. My favorite is the walking trail. It is well maintain and expansive, however, you should beware when going alone and in the evenings. My car was broken into and I was robbed in the early evening with still plenty of daylight and with many people nearby. Someone had to be watching as I locked my belongings into my trunk for safety. I was parked at the entrance across from the fire department. Just be careful. It really is a shame as I have so enjoyed walking here. Needs security. Playground: Nice, new playground. Lots of fun things for the kids. Has an area for tiny kids and then an area for bigger kids. Well maintained. Dog-friendliness: Lots of people walk their dogs here. A lap is over 2 miles so keep that in mind for small or elderly dogs. Picnic area: Many shelters ranging in size with picnic tables and grills.
Great 18 hole course with good signage and new baskets recently installed. Very popular, the course was crowded by the time I finished my round on a Sunday morning.
Loved taking my 5 year old here. We had so much fun. There are bench tables very close to the jungle gyms so I was able to eat lunch and watch him play. There's plenty to do. Fun, unique things like xylophones to play. There's a water fountain and bathroom near by as well.
Came here to have lunch with some family were from Ohio and this park is beautiful and there is so much for the kids to do! 4 stars because the bathroom was not the greatest.
One of the best parks Lexington has, there is something to do other then walk in an open field. I used to play Disc Golf and played a lot here for many years, but have shoulder issues and can not play anymore. But this is a nice park that offers a lit of different activities
Always love coming to this park with my family. I recommend always bring extra tp, baby wipes and sanitizer. Sometimes it's too busy an run outta tp
Just visited Tennis courts, which are nice and plentiful. On any given day, it can be pretty crowded but have gotten lucky finding a court. Park scenery and drive through is nice and clean.
The park itself is beautiful. The baseball fields are run down and actually dangerous. The bases on the field to the left are literally broken. Players risk serious injury stepping on them. It would be easy to roll an ankle or twist a knee. We played in a tournament there and they are a disgrace. I have never seen such poor conditions.
