Quirky artisan jewelry with vintage flair. I focus on repurposed antique steel tins and vitreous enamels. Additionally, I use reclaimed serving pieces and base metals. Check out my website at TTEDesigns.com or TTE Designs on Etsy.
I have been creative as long as I can remember, my parents are both artistic in their own right and it was part an integral part of growing up for me.
I throughly enjoy all aspects of creating ~I handcraft jewelry and home decor pieces from polymer clay, gemstones, resin and metals like copper & sterling silver, beautiful beads, thrift store finds and found objects. I also like to incorporate fine paper, vintage ephemera, and various other items and techniques to make something truly special.
I am a frequent blogger at http://ttedesigns.blogspot.com where I discuss my projects, thrift finds, and various aspects of my life and how they affect my art.
I am proud to be a member of the Znetshows Design Team and pleased to have my pieces in some local shops as well as showing at area fairs and shows.
In May of 2013 I was honored to be chosen for the 'Award for Distinction in Jewelry' at the Gosport Arts Festival in Portsmouth, VA.
I have had works published in Bead Trends Magazine, Bead-it-Today Magazine, Artisan Whimsy E-zine, and Creative Spark E-zine.
I like to participate in blog hops and challenges, pushing yourself outside your comfort zone is what art is all about.
Thank you for stopping by my page today, I truly appreciate your visit.
Warm Regards,
