Be very careful. They were very nice in the beginning. Took my non-refundable $100 application fee like almost all rental communities. They told me my application was APPROVED, confirmed by email. On moving day I paid their move-in admin fee, another $280. But when I arrived to pick up the keys, everything was cancelled. APPROVED from Turnbury is a fraudulent inducement to get another $280. And they refused to return any of the money. Not sure how scams like this are allowed to continue. But let this be a warning.
I came into the leasing office when Kathy greeted me promptly. These days that is a rarity in itself. She took the time to listen and understand what my reasons for the visit were. Everything is in tip-top shape, from the curb appeal to the office space. The welcome feeling is not the typical response I get when visiting properties as a potential vendor. It was a delightful experience. Thank you for making my day more enjoyable, Kathy.
Grace is an exceptional person to work with. She truly goes above and beyond to help! From doing the application to being a resident it is a great pleasure to work with her. The office staff does food trucks, events and everyone is very friendly. I am so happy I chose turnbury to live in. I recommend 100%
If I could give 0 stars I would! This company is the biggest joke. First off, I will say thank the lord I dodged a bullet. I have received so much feedback about how many robberies have happened in this place and how much drug use goes down. I have also received feedback on how bad their maintenance is as well as how bad the office staff is. They try to reel you in with their beautiful office and personality front when you first apply and then once you’re approved you’re treated like less than trash. I walked up to the unit that was potentially going to be mine and it was so nasty just outside the door. Trash everywhere. Stains all over the place. Flies. Now that I’ve decided not to move there, I’m asking for the application fee to be refunded to me because it should of never been charged to begin with because it states all over their website that the fee is waived for healthcare workers. They pulled a fast one and said it would be applied to my first months rent. Now they are telling me pretty much to go screw myself and not getting it back. They are ignoring every single one of my phone calls which left my husband having to go in there and talk to them face to face. DO NOT MOVE HERE! BEWARE!!!
It's wonderful, thus far. There have been a few hiccups, however, the women in the front office are diligently taking care of them. I love the activities, and the meet and greet sessions are a great idea. I made two friends in the complex and I am very happy this something that is done.
Not even a month into the lease and this place has not lived up to the price you pay. On move in day no one is in the leasing office leaving us stranded for nearly 2 hours until someone was able to come and give us keys. Fridge was making an awful noise since the second we moved in, and was finally taken care of on 11-15-22 nearly a month after move in. on 11-10-22 we noticed a strange smell in the kitchen a few days later on 11-15-22 we noticed a brownish water in the kitchen coming from the dishwasher, called requested maintenance the lady on the phone stated “This is an emergency someone will be out today”. No one came out and around 8PM I called for an update and was told no one would be out today, they would be in on the next day. So through the day i was constantly moping and placing towels down to soak up water. Into the next day the leak is still going. Went into the office and was told “I’m not sure why they told you it was an emergency”. Maintenance came out looked at the dishwasher after some time stated its coming from the neighbors, he checks the neighbors and states its not coming from the neighbors it might be coming from up stairs and then proceeded to leave and hopefully come back tomorrow. It is now 11:13pm 11-16-22 and there is still water coming through and it smells horrible. This is where we store and cook food and there is an unknown leak that is apparently not an emergency. When peaking behind the dishwasher through a crack I can see a puddle of water and rotting wood. This is absolutely disgusting who knows how long this has been going on before we even moved in.
I'm a current tenant here. I don't leave reviews, but I felt obligated to do so after my experience. Rent is outrageous for what you get here. $2700+ for a 2/2 floorplan. My AC unit went out on multiple occasions, which not to mention, the ducts are filthy. Expect loud and low-class neighbors leaving trash all over the grounds, which is seldom picked up. My dryer stopped working on 3/11/2023. I placed a work order on the same date. My dryer was finally repaired on 06/01/2023. 82 days. I called multiple times per week requesting an update. Nothing. I requested rent concessions since I was paying full rent $2700 for a unit without a working dryer. Nothing. If you want a little extra motivation to achieve homeownership, come sign a lease! You'll never want to rent again!
Very good place. Me and my children enjoyed swimming pools a lot on the hot days. There are three swimming pools at the area, however one is closed. There is a park across the street with kids playgrounds, baseball fields, community center. Grocery store is in walking distance also. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

I just recently signed a lease to a new apartment and if anyone who wants to rent at Turnbury please do business with the assistant property manager Jadien, Cathy, and intern that assisted me and my husband and I would've gave ir all star if we didn't have to deal with Grace the leasing specialist. She treated me and my husband like we were less than and we had situation the prolong us to bring the down deposit she was very unprofessional how she handled the situation.
