I came here in the middle of May, and it was the perfect time to visit! There were a ton of blooming flowers and bushes. I loved how there are a bunch of wooden structures that make it a unique and interesting experience! Every part was different, and I could tell that the staff put a lot of work into maintaining the land! I got a membership after my first time visiting, so I look forward to visiting again!
Our first visit to Tyler Arboretum was so fun for the whole family. Trails, treehouse, a pond with turtles, we saw catapillars and so much more. I also loved that they have early hours, we were able to go at 9am on a Sunday. Highly recommend for a fresh air adventure.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entry$16–20
Clean beautifully preserved arboretum. Close parking and friendly staff/volunteers. Bring a lunch and extra water and enjoy a day outside. Remembering, what you bring in, you bring out -no trash cans through area. Also, not many bathrooms or water refill stations.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Imagine the ease of being able to wander through a beautiful garden for couple portraits, and afterwards have a dance party in a stone barn... so good. We drove down from Maine for a wedding here and it was really exciting for us to photograph in a setting like Tyler Arboretum.Visited onWeekend
Beautiful garden!! At Tyler Arboretum I got a garden passport booklet with a complete list of all the gardens in the area. There’s a handful in PA, DE and NJ. The booklet has things to look for and when at each garden. But the walk through Tyler Arboretum is peaceful and amazing. Perfect for a wedding reception too.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entry$16–20
A wonderful combination of local history / architecture / native plant species / exotic plant species that will fill your day with an array of awesome outdoor activities. Whether you stay within the gates of the arboretum or venture out onto the many hiking trails to see some mini waterfalls and Indian rock the Tyler Arboretum is a must see and all proceeds from your visit help to keep this wonderful nonprofit alive. They also offer yearly memberships.
Beautiful, well-maintained, good signage, paved on- and dirt off-the-beaten-path trails, walking story for kids, a pollinator garden, turtles, treehouses, bullfrogs, a maze, and so so much more. This place is perfect.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
Always beautiful and enjoyable. Friendly and informative staff. Many different trails to enjoy with gorgeous plants and scenery. They even had a scavenger hunt for kids to enjoy.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
I enjoyed the visit here, I expected more when comparing it to similar area attractions. The most enjoyable areas were the vegetable garden and butterfly gardens. The maze was simple and fun for the little ones. They also enjoyed the various tree houses/forts throughout the park. The native woodland walk was the least impressive part of our visit. It seems a couple attractions marked on the map are missing. Several information signs in the area were in need of cleaning or replacement. It certainly is a nice place for a walk and to see and smell the natural beauty of the area, but I don't know that I would come back again.
A beautiful place to walk and relax. Good for families and people of all ages.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
