Actually 1.5 stars. Let me share my experience from last night. This was my first time back in a theater since Covid. Was excited to see a movie on the big screen. As a former A-List member, and long time Stubs member, I know how this theater works. First, the pre-order food thing is a joke. A $2 Delivery Fee? Ugh. Pre-ordered anyway. Get to the theater 20 mins before showtime, get to our seats early and start watching previews. Screen is BLURRY/Not Focused. No buttons at the seat for assistance anymore so went and talked to a manager. She assured me the screen tech would look at the clarity, then she would come to my seat personally and ask if it was any better. Was initially impressed that they'd check with me, but alas, no one ever adjusted the clarity and no one ever checked back with me. Had a headache after movie because it was so blurry see photos. It was almost like it was 3D where there are layers, like a little outline to words, edges, etc. Very hard to watch. Then there's the food & service. So we preordered our meals. I ordered a salad, which was delivered by a grumpy teen who literally threw the bowl and a plastic wrapped fork onto my table and walked away. I also never got the drink I also preordered. Had to find someone to ask for it. Then when that was finally delivered, it was the wrong drink. At this point I was so thirsty after eating my salad for 15 mins, and the movie was starting, that I wasn't about to yet get up again and search for help. Funny, we talked about re-joining as A-List members when we got to the theater, but after the long list of issues and the lack of service, I'll probably just pay for streaming movies from home. Don't go here with any expectations, except to pay $10 for popcorn and $10 for a large non-alcoholic drink, probably to have them delivered if you're lucky to get everything you preordered by a grumpy teen. And if the screen is blurry/unfocused, just leave and ask for a refund. I wish I had.
I went for screen 8 which has a small screen. I felt like watching movie with my projector in basement. Seating also should be little higher If you are kid definitely it will block the screen view and your front row seating will also be in more or less same height. Seating could have been better. Food is good and tray given in seat to eat food is big enough. Overall it's budget friendly theater.
I really liked this movie theater the location is great the rooms are good clean with a good smell the screen is very good the service is very good, having a very special receptionist receiving us. the movie started right on time the sound was excellent, the climate was perfect. We went with a large group and everyone had a great time.
The gourmet Carmel popcorn taste like it was straight from the bag from the supermarket, not worth it. The butter popcorn lacked butter. The theatre was very clean and it's very comfortable seating. The food was just a disappointment. I did not order any adult drinks, I was scared after the popcorn it wouldn't be worth it. I will be going back, cause again the theater is nice.
Haven't been to the theater in over a year now. But always thought the AMC dine in experience was awesome. That was, until our most recent experience. I'll keep it short and to the point: 1. AMC was awesome because you could order food right at your seat and then they'd bring it to you. Apparently that has changed and now and you have to go up to the front counter and order food/snacks/drinks just like... everywhere else. Literally defeats the purpose of the whole "dine-in" experience. 2. We could constantly hear the rumble and noise of whatever film was playing in the theater next to ours and it was pretty distracting/confusing at times. The only reason I didn't give it a 1 star is because the picture quality and sound were actually decent. Nothing spectacular, but par for the course for going to a theater rather than at home. Used to drive 45 minutes out of my way to go to this theater nearest AMC for the experience and now it's pretty much just like going to any other theater. Honestly, if I can, I'll figure out how to just pay to watch the film at my home.
This AMC theater is super clean and the parking lot is perfectly maintained with outdoor lighting and easy access to the front entrance. Clorox wipes are available throughout the building and the restrooms are immaculate. AMC offers Cinema Suites and Fork & Screen theaters. The location of this AMC is situated at an intersection of two very busy major highways and yet conveniently accessible from all directions.
Fairly good theater. Decent quality screens and good sound. The Dine-In aspect is pretty gimmicky and can interrupt your movie in a bunch of ways, but if you are okay with that happening I recommended giving it try. Naturally, the pricing is a bit high due to the nature of the experience so be prepared for that.
If you're 5ft 2" or Shorter you may have a problem with the seats. I was in theater 2. And I had prepaid via Fandango for a seat on the back row on the right aisle Near the door. N1. It has the rocker type chairs. Not reclining. During the advertising I could not see the screen in full as the two EMPTY seats in front of me were obscuring my view. * *See photo which I took before the movie started. As it was a matinee and not a full theater I found another seat on the back row. But the seat in front of me was in the way too so I couldn't see the screen in full. So I moved again for the 3rd time and found another unoccupied seat further down the aisle on the left and I could see the screen ok. I felt Like Golidilocks. The seats I had experience with would be no good for children and people my height or shorter.
It was a good experience. The seats r good but it doesn't go all the way up. I can't cuddle when the old lady.
I haven't been to this theater in 30 years and I was reminded why tonight. Let me start by saying the regular staff were kind and helpful and this review doesn't refer to them. About a hundred of us sat to watch a PG13 movie this evening but were treated to the raunchiest most disgusting rated R previews I've ever been subjected to for 30 straight minutes. None of us could figure why they would include horror movie and F Bomb filled previews when we're there to see Sounds of Freedom again PG13. One of our party complained but the manager didn't know what was going on. Then the movie started. The wrong movie. When Joy Ride started playing it was a few seconds of everyone looking around and asking if they were in the wrong theater. Nope. We weren't at fault. The theater was. Very bothersome start to the night. On top of that, I order the chicken nachos that should have been on the menu as chicken nacho soup because the nachos were as soggy as they typically are when they've sat on your table for a few hours....which is of course exactly what most likely happened in the kitchen. I had to ask for a fork and spoon to eat nachos...just as disgusting as the previews they made us sit through. The seats don't recline. The sound was way too quiet since they probably had it set up for the wrong movie. I won't be back. Not even in another 30 years.
