I have never rented a truck before so I was unsure about how expensive it would be. The whole thing worked out perfectly. My dad is the one who went to pick it up and drove it. He said everything went smoothly and the truck ran fine. We didn't end up using their blankets so I can't comment on that . They gave us a credit for the mileage since we went less then expected. I would definitely use them again. We went around 60 miles and spent around $120 I think. Other factors where involved, I think my dad paid for an insurance plan. If you're looking for a ballpark price though I thought it would help other first time truck renters like me.

I rented from this dealer three times in the past two years, and have had an easy experience each time. They have earned a 5-star review with good availability on 15-ft trucks, trucks that are are clean and well-maintained, a check-in and return process that is quick and efficient, and rates that are fair and transparent. Lots of competition in our area, but U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer in New Lenox will continue to be my go-to for rental trucks.

BE VERY CAREFUL about the fees. I was charged 25.00 for not having the blankets folded the way they wanted. I went a total of 20 miles, and was charged 20.00 in a gas charge, plus 30.00 to have them fill up the tank. I used about 1.5 gallons of gasoline and was charged 50.00 in penalties. When I called them to try to work out some type of credit, they told me it was UHAUL policy and to call them to complain. I would not use them.

This place was very unprofessional and not customer focused! We hired Tedd after we rented a uhaul to put in a remote start on our Dodge Ram. After three times to the shop, the programming was not fixed. Tedd was rude and lied about facts he mentioned to us on the previous visit. We asked for our money back and to remove the remote starter from the truck. He refused and told us to back-out our truck from his garage. We would never recommend this business to anyone!!! We cannot believe he treats his customers like he does. Could you image how he treats his workers. We are out $330.00 and still do not have a remote starter that is working accurately. Terrible, terrible, terrible!

A staff member showed up as we were about to leave since they were closed. It was a little confusing that he kept asking if he could help but they were closed. Then he finally explained we could set up the rental online, fully automated and take the truck. Worked out pretty well... once I finally created acct and everything set up.

Made reservation on-line. The owner confirmed reservation same day. I go to pick it up and they moved the reservation to the following day with no notice. Then the guy lies to me and says I was notified. If you have to have something on a specific day don't rent it from these guys. Terrible customer service. Do not recommend.

We originally scheduled a reservation for pick-up for a truck in Madison, Wisconsin, but we needed to change the date. After I called to have it changed, the new reservation was accidentally made for pick-up at this location. The employee there on Sundays was extremely helpful in resolving the issue, even giving me few tips to help lower my costs! Overall, great customer service and very helpful.

Came to have car alarm fixed. Tedd provided quick professional service. He quickly wires up the new car alarm and programmed the remote starter system within 20 minutes. Tedd was very nice and entertaining to talk to, took care of all my needs and showed me how he was fixing the car alarm. Waited in the nice waiting room after checking out his cool car that he is working on. Highly recommended, Tedd absolutely knows what he is doing and provides fast professional service. Tedd also rents out trucks and U-hauls.

Rented a truck to pick up on a Friday at 3:30 an hour before they closed. Went through the u haul online easy pick up, gave me a lock box with a code. Opened box and no key. Called, live messaging with u haul and an hour and half later they couldn't help me. This outfit has no care for their business they are completely incompetent when it comes to customer service. And even then, had rented a truck prior to this incident should have learned and they were to open at 8am on a Saturday, someone shows up at 9 and had me wait whole they check trucks in. NEVER AGAIN! NEEDS TO LOOSE HIS CASH COW OF U HAUL, man don't care about people's situations and schedules. Hope he goes to hell

This guy charge me for two days because he wasn't capable to and check when we droop we asked for a piece of paper he said wasn't necessarily I only used from 4pm o clock till 1130 am following day and now he looping me around with that extra charge for 3 weeks I will never recommend it again
