We added an account, upgraded a phone and spent a good portion of our morning at US Cellular in Janesville at the Pine Tree Plaza. We had many questions but Jose and Ester were so patient with us and made sure we were comfortable with everything before we left the store. I am so appreciative of their dedication to best in class customer service! The rest of the staff was great as well- talking with us as we waited. I highly recommend US Cellular for your phone service and especially this location and this team to get you started!
A couple of months ago, I took my 78 year old father to your store to update his flip phone before 3G was shut off. There were two amazing clerks there. One helped my dad. The other answered questions for me about my plan. Only two flip phones were available. We chose the TCL. It has been nothing but problems since. It randomly shuts off during calls. Today, we returned to the store to get assistance. The clerk was awful because we had "just a flip phone." He was not the least bit interested in helping. He offered to change the SIM card, but I told him that was not the issue. He couldn't tell us what the warranty was or when the phone was purchased either. We left and went to the corporate store. As we were explaining the issue another woman walked in with the exact same issue on the exact same phone. Suddenly our complaint was verified. After waiting forever, a clerk helped us. He actually cared. He could tell us when the phone was purchased and about the warranty even. He called customer support, ran some updates, changed some settings, and gave us a ticket number for the claim he submitted. He proceeded to tell us what to do with that number. I typically like helping out the smaller store and find this place to be a lot better, but today was not the case and it makes me question whether I should ever return when they wouldn't help out a customer who initially bought the phone there. The corporate store cared more and has more resources. Seems like that is the place to go despite the ridiculous wait.
I have talked to at least 20 different people in customer service trying to get a problem resolved, but nobody would help me. I went into Janesville pine tree plaza store one time and Larry Hamilton was able to help me solve my problem in less than an hour after many weeks trying to fix it with customer service and I’m so grateful for this employee!!!!!
I always work with Jared at this location. He’s awesome! Thorough and knowledgeable in all things Cellular. He’s often busy but is great at communicating a good time for less wait in store. I appreciate his service and only work with him. He’s kept us coming back to US cellular longer than we would have because of his amazing service and commitment to his customers.
When Quality Cellular set up my new Apple SE phone, the rep misspelled my last name. I returned to the store a few days later to have it corrected. DaMarri was the first available rep. I am so glad that she is the one who helped me. She is excellent. Her customer skills are top notch. She understands that those of us in our later years are not wise in the ways of modern techology. She is not condescending. The next time I encounter a problem with my Apple SE, I will definitely ask for her assistance.
We have been using Jared at this location for over a decade I think!! He is always super helpful. We drove from Brodhead just to work with him. He goes above and beyond what his job actually calls for. It’s a nice friendly location, where you don’t feel over whelmed when you walk in. Clean and pleasant store. When I contact Jared about phone issues he always replies and helps any way he can. I know that I am getting the best deal available when I talk to Jared! He even worked with me from Mexico when my phone over heated! Got an old phone of mine taken to the store and he moved my activation to that phone so that we could see travel updates that only went to my phone number! He’s also been super sly about helping me get phones for my kids as gifts and keeping it on the down low. Could not ask for a better sales guy.
DeMarri McCoy was extremely helpful with getting my mom set up with a new phone. She is so knowledgeable and professional. You couldn't ask for a better employee. I was also in the store today and before I even got in the door she was up and greeting me asking how she could help. Thank you for everything DeMarri!!
Jared is so knowledgeable and helped my husband and I figure out the best/cost efficient plan for our needs. He explained it so we both understood things and felt he really had our best interest in mind. We were ready to try another carrier due to being caught off guard and our bill charged almost double for using data overage on our trip that we didn’t even know would happen! Jared talked with US Cellular on our behalf and helped make things better for us as much as he could. We’ll stick with US Cellular because of him and his caring way!
This is the only place I ever go when I need any kind of phone help. Jared is the best! He has been my go-to person for over a decade. His customer service is great, he knows the products really well, and he always looks over my entire account to make sure I'm getting the best bang for my buck!
We have dealt with Jared a few times and he is amazing and knowledgeable of every device we have ever bought from us cellular. Jared goes over the top to make sure that we are happy. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get service or a new device.
