Customer service is horrible. As soon as you enter the store you’re greeted with cold stares. I also noticed as ‘other’ customers entered the store after me, they were greeted with cheer and smiles. It was really odd. As you shop, it’s also a similar unpleasant experience, no matter how much you are spending. The staff and managers are trained to preform in front of auditors only. Including loss prevention or headquarters Overall only shop here if it’s a complete emergency. There are a ton of other places that offer a more pleasant shopping experience.
I typically wouldn't leave a review for a store like this because it's relatively self involved the entire time. However. I ordered 3 items on Monday and paid for them. I received 2 emails, the second stating that my order was pulled, and ready to be picked up. I came the next morning to pick the order up and no one could find it. The exact 3 items I had ordered were blatantly sitting on the counter while a girl sloppily laid her body over the counter next to it lounging carelessly. I said that those were the 3 items I ordered and she ignored me and just laid sprawled over the counter with her upper body. 30 minutes goes by while I wait there for an order that was said to be pulled and ready only to find out that they don't even have the product I ordered. So I not only waste my gas to come to this store, but my time to get there and the 30 minutes wasted while they looked for said product... only for me to have to go to a whole other store in the end. The employees working this day were absolutely careless, lacked empathy or care. An apology was verbally extended while the girl was snickering like it was funny because there were 3 or 4 other employees all gathered around. If this is your staffing for most of your stores, how embarrassing. I'll go to sephora from now on where the employees at least pretend to do their jobs.
Alyssa at the Salon is great! I went for a color and cut and i was pleased with my results, im always so nervous going to someone new but she did amazing! I will definitely be going back.
I went on Sunday to buy a new cologne and there were nearly no bottles--it was bizarre. Almost the entirety of the perfume/cologne section was bare.
The worst customer service I've ever experienced.They watched over me and followed me throughout the store as if I was going to steal something. I've been to this ulta many of times and gotten the same outcomes. I'd rather travel to an ulta across the world than come to this one on Erie blvd.
Tonight I walked in looking for new skincare that I have been procrastinating on purchasing. While I was browsing the skincare section I met Jillian who I was able to explain what I have been experiencing with my face and past products. Jillian was very knowledgeable and provided many recommendations. We were able to narrow it down to a few products by Philosophy. Jillian went above my expectations by showing me a few other products that would work well with Philosophy. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. I left feeling like a valuable customer. I am so happy I stopped in and excited to try my new skincare products!!
I’m a regular shopper at Ulta and have been for years. I stopped at the Erie Blvd location for eyebrow products. There were 3 associates working on some stand near the front that I walked past and not one greeted me. Not did any of them ask if I needed assistance with anything. I found the brand I buy but was looking for a new shade. Upon checking the testers they were all old and very dried out. I couldn’t even get it to swipe on my hand to see the shade Anastasia eyebrow promade. It just flaked when I tried. I saw a couple other eyebrow products and was looking them over. The 3 salesclerks were literally feet away from me and still never checked to see if I needed help. Those testers too were old and dried out. So I stuck with what I usually get and checked out. Definitely will not go to this location ever again!
I have to update my previous, poor review. I did go through all of the stuff I wasn't going to use in order to return it all, but when I got there, I couldn't do it. I explained to the cashier what I was going to do and why, but I'm not a vindictive person, so instead I kept my stuff, picked up an online order and spent another $40. I will say, though the woman helping me was the general manager and she apologized for my previous experience and was very helpful. It's only fair I update my review. I felt so much better after leaving, knowing I didn't go through with being so douchy and returning like a dozen items.
Most of the employees are really nice. I feel like the knowledge is high to help the general public but low when it comes to non common problems
RUDE!!!! Staff member !!!! Didn't ask her name cause I don't want to ruined my day after what she did to me . I went to the store to buy a perfume for my daughter if it's not important I'm not gonna get it. I went to the store Dec.17 around 9 am . There's 2 people already paying I'm the first one in the line and I'm waiting when I noticed the arrow on the floor where you going to next so I moved to the next aisle where the arrow is . There's 2 staff member at the cash register the one on the left finished first so I'm thinking I'm next but she said loud I'm not the next one it's the other girl she's got their first my original spot but I moved because of the arrow I told her I just followed the arrow and she said no we don't used that sign. So I control my emotions cause I don't want to argue with her. Please take out the arrow where the people going to go to pay if you're not going to follow it. This going to be my last time to go inside the store . That's why people now they rather do online shopping because there's some staff member who is rude and this ONE person bad for everybody. It's OK to to tell me I'm not the next one BUT HOW SHE SAID IT.
