A new restaurant open in Cookeville, TN
The Under Ground Sandwich Shop is just what the name says. We are a small local shop that can be found nestled beside of Tennessee Tech University. We are clean ,friendly,and humble. We believe that not through looks, but friendly service, high quality foods, and love for making food is what makes us special and unique. We like to talk to our customers and share ideas on what they like or would like us to offer. We offer the freshest meats and veggies possible. We love to serve the tastiest burgers and sandwiches in town and watch the look on my patrons faces as they take the first bite and their eyes light up with bliss. We watch the skepticism of not knowing what to expect go away in seconds. We love making food and we think it shows. So if you want to go out to eat at a fancy little place that is cute with frilly curtains and costs an arm and a leg then The Underground isn't for you, but if you want good food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere in a small local shop and you don't mind the cook (that's the owner) asking how is your sandwich then come on by and give us a try.
