In newtonville ! The Most unprofessional afro American woman manager was chastising an employee right in front of many of us customers .. she was ranting and raving until a customer saved the traumatized man who seemed abit slow from almost crying ??? I have seen this before. How do these managers get their jobs ? ? Terrible way to represent the u s post office . This place needs revamping . Seems to be out of control . Never go there again .. !!!!! Fire her ......Got to say went there again and this same manager was out front again speaking loudly at another teller ?? I spoke up and asked her to speak in a lower tone and more respectfully to her employee.! She hissed at me and left .. why does she treat post office employees like this.?? I heard from a local friend, there seems to be a big turnover with employees there she notices ?? I CAN SEE WHY !! Any manager who treats customers , hissing at me .. and important employees like she does everdently should be fired ..!!! wow !! This post office must be desperate !!!
Honestly, I have had mixed experiences with this post office, but one guy was so exceptionally helpful that this puts bad experiences to rest. He was very patient and helpful. He made sure that I had everything correct in order to get my passport. I don't think I could have done it without him. I also appreciate the fact that I don't usually have to wait very long at this post office. Most of the workers I've been dealing with lately have been pretty good. Keep up the good work. I do have a suggestion, though. I think the Post Office boxes should be separated so that the customers can get them at any time regardless of whether the post office is closed or not.
The worst. I relied on them because they are the only post office that’s open after I get out of work. I typically find one particular employee there in the evening, and he behaves…..strangely. He asks lots of unnecessary questions, that no one at other locations bothers with when I drop off pre-labeled items. He told the customer in front of me that he could not use the “Address” section from a cardboard mailer he’d cut out/taped on to his package because, despite the fact it had 0 identifying information/branding, and just said “Address,” he the employee could “tell it’s from one of our mailers.” Huh? We were both confused. But worst of all, the minute I started using this office, my glass ornaments started arriving to customers broken. Never happened before. One out of every three shipments arrived shattered, and eventually I brought the stack of replacement/refund requests with photos of the shattered ornaments, PLUS my actual shipping materials, to Newtonville to ask what was up. No refund for my shipping costs, and the person I spoke to just suggested I come back the next time I had to wrap/ship one and let her do it. No thanks. I just started dropping packages off at the Watertown post office midday. Shockingly, not a shattered shipment since! Avoid Newtonville at all costs.
I was home all day to wait for my time sensitive package. The wonderful postman just came to my house and put a "you miss your package" note on the door. Then I scheduled a redelivery the next day but the wonderful postman never showed up. At the end of the day, I went to the post office trying to pick up my package. The post office told me that they don't have my package in there. They asked me to reschedule for another delivery. The processes were repeated for 4 more times. I really love my wonderful post office and postman.
They are super nice, all the time.Everyone 5 stars. But it never open at the right time when a lady has I forgot her nameto open. Another day I left at 8:00 am and was still closed. Today it’s already 7:42 and no body is here. And I am sure will be her the person responsible to open today.
I'm giving this location 5 stars because of Barry. He assisted me process my US passport. I didn't have an appointment but that day it was pretty quiet. Barry bent the "rule" for a better cause. Barry went above and beyond. He is great and needs a raise and promotion!
I was told via the tracking info of a package that a delivery was attempted at my place of work. No one saw a USPS truck or personnel during the time frame listed in the tracking and since the building is open at 8:30am, someone would have been there. Edit: The tracking stated that there was no access to the building, but that is incorrect. The building and surrounding business are open and the entrance way has been clear all day.
We requested 'Hold mail' until 3/19/2019. After waiting for 3 days on 3/22 I went to the Post Office to pick up the mail. The clerk said they are sorry for not delivered the mail and gave me a bunch of letters and magazines. When I came home I realized that half of the mail was not for us but for our neighbor. From time to time we are getting somebody's email and sometimes our neighbor is receiving our mail.
I can't even begin to explain how awful they are. They lose things constantly! I am pregnant and high risk, so I had CVS deliver my prescription using this post office. It was apparently picked up, and then got marked as delivered -- to the post office, 02460, when my address on the package is in 20468, Newton Corner. They also lost a dress of mine, but that wasn't a huge deal because it's a dress, whatever. This is medicine for a pregnant woman! Completely inept.
My package has just been sitting there since 3am yesterday. It’s 7pm the next day. This is ridiculous. I’m just gonna go pick it up tomorrow.
