Welcome to the official Facebook page for UB's University Police. This Facebook page was created to share information with members of the University at Buffalo community, including students, staff and visitors.
The University at Buffalo (UB) is one of the safest campuses in the country, but like any large community, crimes do occur. UB's University Police are responsible for on-campus enforcement of local, state and federal laws along with Student Conduct Rules and Regulations.
The highly trained police officers of UB's University Police are the first to respond to all campus medical, fire, and criminal emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days
per year. Students should call 716-645-2222 for all campus emergencies, or pick up any emergency blue light phone (located in convenient locations on both campuses) to be directly connected to University Police. For non-emergency assistance, call 716-645-2227.
Students living off campus should call their municipal emergency authorities (i.e., City of Buffalo or Town of Amherst) at 911.
