I really like it here. The apartments are very nice and I love how close it is to campus. The only thing I wished was that at least the 4 bedroom apartments got a stainless steal 2 door fridge with the sliding freezer. If not that just a bigger fridge and freezer in general. Because the fridge and freezer here now is too small for 4 people.
University Edge is a place I would recommend instantly to anyone. As soon as you come into the club house you’re greeted with smiles and kindness. The apartments are very spacious and the amenities are awesome. They are very well kept up and the maintenance is superior to others in the region. Anytime I need something maintenance is here same day or early the next morning. Isaac Roark had to help me my first day on move in and he handled my issue very well and got it fixed insanely fast. He’s a great dude that is always prompt to and kind. Overall, if you’re looking to “Live Different” and have the best years of your college experience I would highly recommend University Edge! Godspeed and Go bucs!
UEdge is such an amazing place for any college student that enjoys community living! Management always has their residents best interest in heart and the amenities here are wonderful! I cannot brag on Sarah enough for all she does for our community!
PARENTS BE AWARE!!! Horrible experience! So many things to list. 1. Don’t trust the great reviews students are given free Tshirts etc. for writing great reviews. 2. Security is terrible my son had his car broken into. 3. They pressure you to renew like it is going to sell out and to get the lower rent rate, their rent ranges from the 500s to 800s for same apartment depending on when you sign lease but imagine all the people that are paying for empty apartments because they changed their mind.but then when you decide you won’t be going to school there the next year there is no way to break it. So you have to continue to pay for the apartment the entire year. 4. Even when they do find someone to take over your lease that doesn’t start until the next school year you have to pay a full months rent which is supposed to cover cleaning. 5. They sent in pictures of an apartment that did not belong to student at the end of the lease I disputed it I even have video proof that they are refusing to look at; they denied it. 6. When you put in a dispute that some of the scuffs on the wall were already there they will lie and say a move in inspection was not completed even though one was because it is required. 7. Take pictures and video of everything! They know college kids are just starting out with credit so they know most people will just pay instead of risking it going against credit score. Also, There is no security!!! When I went to move my student out, everyone had been home for the summer, the door was unlocked because one of their office/inspection people left it open. Garbage is always overflowing! Not enough parking! It’s like a 24/7 party at night.
I have had a great experience living here at University Edge! The apartments are really well furnished and the staff is very helpful/friendly. The amenities included are very nice too!
University Edge is a very safe place to live. I love the fact that it's all college students that live there. It has spacious rooms and a private bathroom for each tenant. The amenities are fabulous. It has a gorgeous clubhouse with a pool, gym and movie theater. I love the the theaters, it's a great place to hang out and have movie night with friends. Overall, I recommend UE as a great place to live.
Be aware that when you check out of University Edge the management team will overcharge for every little thing they deem wrong with the apartment. This will include normal wear and tear on the walls and furniture. Don’t bother paying to have the carpets cleaned yourself. They will simply tell you it’s not good enough and charge you anyway. Our daughter and her roommate took photos when they moved in because others told them this would happen. We have disputed some of the charges, and they adjusted the fee but are still demanding almost $1200. The rate they charge for carpet cleaning is easily two to three times the going rate in Johnson City. And don't bother calling to discuss with management because they openly admit they don't talk on the phone about these things. I, for one, would be ashamed to work for a company with such unethical policies and procedures that take advantage of people in this way.
I was so disappointed this week when my student moved into the UEdge apartment. The bedroom and bathroom had been cleaned, however the kitchen and living room were completely disgusting and unsanitary. Apparently, there is no system to check that the apartment is clean when there is a prior occupant still living there before new residents move in. The 3 new occupants and their families spent 4 days cleaning just so the kitchen and living room could be used. This was was unacceptable! Please have a better system to ensure a clean space for all residents before move in.
I have been the delivery guyUPS here for years and the office personnel are always so friendly and happy. The office is always clean and fresh and the staff are always helpful with students while I’m there. They always seem to have food and activities planned for the students as well. Worth checking out if you are in the market for student housing.
My time living at uedge was wonderful! Everyone there was so kind and really made it feel like home! Tatum was extremely helpful and was always there if I needed anything at all!
