University of Chicago Bookstore

The coffee shop in the bookstore gets 5/5 for being the only place open on Memorial Day. Coffee ok, place ok, burn it’s open! Also, the power and USB outlets at the tables are super useful, thanks!

If you bleed Maroon, this shop is a must visit. A full collection of UChicago items. Hurry before "fun goes to die." Love

Tried to buy a sweatshirt for my daughter due to sudden drop temperature and very windy on May 27. Don't have that much smaller size available

The store had an amazing ambiance and the bathroom is very clean. The staff is friendly and they have books on every topic and genre.

I liked the buildings wrapped with green leaves... It was amazing. This campus is cool.

Stopped in for some gear while in town moving my daughter in for grad school. Giving 3 stars because they have a nice selection of apparel. However, some of the prices are astronomical. $80 for a crew neck sweatshirt. Yes it had nice stitching, but wow!!

While this is a great place to get University of Chicago merchandise in store or online and some required textbooks are available here, there are better bookstore options in Hyde Park. As expected from a chain bookstore, it has a rather uniform, corporate feel.

Every time I go here, the “starbucks” or coffee shop portion is always out of things. It’s been like this for weeks. Sometimes its over more than one week at a time.The employees are often very rude as well. Some should not work in customer service jobs. I honestly think it should be closed.

Just recently came here. Starbucks staff is astronomically rude. I asked for some ice earlier, the barista rudely told me to put the cups down, proceeded to pour the ice in, and angrily threw the cup. I always ask for water and I’m always treated this way. I don’t understand why people are so rude, I work in costumer service and never treated people this way. If you don’t like your job, quit.
