This establishment is RAD! Great time had by all that were on our group. I had no idea the amount of different activities that are offered here. Axe throwing, racing, billiards.. what a cool place. I will definitely be back to enjoy a much longer day. SO MUCH FUN.
So much fun! Absolutely recommend this place for everyone! We came here because boondocks is closed on Mondays. It was our first time out of the house baby free since giving birth. We wanted to go do something, not just go out to dinner. My dad watched the baby and this turned out to be perfect!
If you’ve got the need for speed, this place is for you. The go cart racing here is so much fun. On my last race I averaged 50.89mph so you really get moving. The staff is quality too and very friendly. Great place for a party or just a fun time with friends. Zoom zoom!
We went for a department team building and had a blast. The go karts were awesome, even though I was terrible at them, and the axe throwing was great.
Went there for our Christmas party, had a blast. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. The food was decent for bar food, better than expected draft beer selection. You are not allowed to have a beer before you go on the track, so plan accordingly. Will definitely go back there, the racing was a lot of fun.
This place is amazing! Customer service is top-notch! Our host for our company party was Matthew and he was amazing. With hosts like Matthew they make a company event an amazing experience. They even rib the bosses a little. I have gone here and K1, and after my recent experience here, I wouldn't even think of going to K1 ever again. Podium has faster carts, bigger track, better instruction, and tips for driving as well as a phenomenal system. If you get a chance to go here on your own or with a company event, don't pass it up. 1 side note, if you have a waist of 38 or bigger, the karts will either be slightly uncomfortable or you won't be able to fit in them at all. Other than that, check this place out.
Went here for a work event & it was definitely adrenaline rushing! These cars go about 35mph! Great drink & food options available. Some of the staff that were monitoring the racing seemed to get easily annoyed when someone needed help on the track ..rather very quickly. I think they should have a tolerance & understanding that not everyone that comes here are pro racers like those who work there. I felt like our cars got slower after our 3rd race or maybe even toggled on by some of workers in control since they seem annoyed. The bartenders & event lead were absolutely great though! Will come here again!
Awesome place for a night out. Went with a corporate event. The racing was exhilarating and the sports bar has are throwing and a very good selection of drinks and snacks. Will certainly return, next time with the family. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, very safety conscious.
Starting with the most important. If you go during winter, it is COLD. You must have gloves. It was about 25° outside, but the track was freezing. When you're racing and going 50+ mph, your exposed skin takes a beating. My fingers were so cold I couldn't steer. My right leg rested against the metal gas cover and I ended up with stage 2 frostbite diagnosed, but I was wearing pretty thin leggings, so that was part of the problem. I was here for a company meeting/party on Friday. Although we had a good time, there are definitely things that could have been better. The organization of our schedule was all over the place. We had to rearrange our meeting agenda a couple different times after being told different times for lunch and racing. We were supposed to have lunch catered in, arranged by Podium and the lunch never showed up. Podium did make us several pizzas and appetizers, which I don't think they charged us for, so that was nice. The staff was friendly enough and I think everyone definitely tried their best. I would not recommend coming in the winter, but I think it definitely has potential when you're not freezing. The cars were pretty fun.. I don't think they were all created equal. I felt like my first car was much faster than the last two.
We went for my birthday to race cars and throw axes. We did two heats of racing, which had 3 additional people not in our group. One of them hit all of us from behind when out of sight of the crew. We let the person in the crew pit know and we were laughed at. It happened again on our second heat. We let the staff know inside at that point, but since we were done racing they didn't do anything. We did axe throwing next - paid for 7 people but only were given a lane for 6 people. I contacted Podium to let them know our experience and have not heard back. It's been over a month. I do not recommend this venue. It's unsafe and has an inexperienced staff.
