Went for a passport appointment, although I arrived late the kind woman still processed my application. Super polite and helpful
Only a very small drop-off slot available for boxes and parcels in lobby when desk is closed.
I went in and asked to send a letter the way I have in many other places and the lady on the right spoke Spanish was so rude. She disrespected me when I told her I didn’t know you guys charge on tracking a letter. She said of course we do with a disrespectful attitude. I said I have sent these type of letters so many times and never gotten charged she said well here’s a first. Very rude!!! This place deserves to be shut down very unprofessional.
In all of my years going to post offices around New York, I have never encountered a friendlier staff. Every time I’ve gone there have been zero lines, the staff has been super nice to me, and super helpful. Post office locations everywhere can learn a thing or two about people skills from these folks :
The service at this location + town delivery personnel have rapidly declined! No accountability, compromised reliability and poor customer service. 2 packages were scanned as delivered, but only 1 was actually physically delivered to my home. Tried contacting the post office = no answer at all from the number posted. Went into the office and spoke to the "supervisor" Jason who noted the following: if it was scanned then it was delivered and suggested it was mail theft. Such irony of 2 boxes delivered at the identical time & the most clever thief knew specifically which box to assume?!? He did not care to question the courier as requested and pretty much closed my matter. As a longtime Harrison resident I am grossly dissapointed with the entire ordeal. His "scanned" means "delivered" logic is a sure formula for mail theft indeed, so I would be mindful how/ what you ship through USPS. Consider a more reputable courier service if possible.
I used to got to this Post Office since I live in Harrison. My past experiences were always good. However now Harrison is so crowded in that area that it is impossible to go. They don't open until 10 on Saturdays and by then all the other stores are open and there is no parking. So I usually go to other local post offices.
Soledad needs to learn how to deal with customers! ABSOLUTELY RUDE. I went in with an envelope to mail a passport to which she said I shouldn’t mail my passport in that. I politely said oh, I was told I can. She said I don’t know who told you that but you can’t. I asked her what I should mail it in instead to which she replied that if I wanted to I could mail it in what I have and rolled her eyes. I asked her 3 times what I should then mail it in and she kept giving snarky replies. It was only until I got loud that she actually gave me the priority envelope to send it in. This location needs training on how to speak and deal with customers.
Extremely rude staff, do not come here if you are looking for efficiency. Asked for Express mail service and instead of explaining insurance, timing and costs they delayed the line by refusing to answer questions. With so many people unemployed at the moment, how do the staff of this post office continue to hold their positions?
I went to this location asking for a flat envelope to mail a passport renewal application. Both employees had a very rude demeanor when speaking to me and told me that I could not send in a passport card to apply for a pastport book renewal - I told them that I had read otherwise on the US passport website and they told me I must have misunderstood. These employees refused me service and treated me like I was stupid. When I called the US passport office, they assured me that I indeed could use the renewal application with my passport card to recieve a passport book. Horrible service and misinformed staff.
I only come here for very basic services that the location offers. Each time I've been, there has been virtually no line, the employees are relatively friendly and helpful and their hours are agreeable.
