The USM Campus Safety Project is university-wide effort to promote healthy relationships at USM by providing prevention education and response training on sexual assault, stalking, and relationship abuse for students, faculty, and staff and coordinating campus and community-based programs and services.
USM Campus Safety Project provides prevention education and response training on sexual assault, stalking, and relationship abuse for students, faculty, and staff. CSP also coordinates campus and community-based programs and services regarding interpersonal violence.
1. Prevention and response training for university faculty, staff, and students to enable USM community members to identify interpersonal violence, understand how best to respond, access available resources, and report if needed.
2. Training for university programs and committees serving as “points of contact” for victim/survivors. In-depth training for those most likely to interact with students needing assistance.
3. Prevention education workshops for presentation in classroom settings on a range of topics tailored to course curricula.
4. Campus Events designed to raise awareness, impact campus climate, and engage community members in making change.
