The USM Art Galleries in Gorham and Portland offer a variety of professional, student, alumni, and community exhibitions and events during the academic year. Professional artist exhibitions, including the Artists-in-Residence and Visiting Artist programs, are an integral part of the gallery programming. The Galleries also offer solo and two person alumni shows and community exhibitions involving Maine art teachers and multicultural events. The USM Art Galleries' vital offerings also include student exhibitions such as the annual Juried Student Exhibition, to which all USM students may submit, and the BFA Exhibition for graduating Bachelor of Fine Arts degree candidates.
