I recently moved from Raytown to the Northland. While I had arranged for my mail to be forwarded, my brother shipped a birthday present to my former address by mistake. After speaking with the new tenants, I believed the package to have been lost or stolen. I went to the Raytown Post Office to confirm. To my surprise and delight, Kyle—the most amazing mail carrier in the land—took the initiative to collect the package from the mailbox and return it to the post office. Thanks to him—and to Taylor who tracked down the package minutes before five and arranged for it to be forwarded—my brother’s gift will soon arrive at my new home. I’m so grateful!
be patient with them. plan your time accordingly. there are a lot of other places that offer postal services as well if you just need something simple, such as to mail a letter or get an envelope. the self service kiosk can help with a lot too. but for things that are specific to the post office, such as passport needs , specific forever stamps, or picking up signature on delivery, they'll take care of you. also my mail carrier Steven is the nicest there is.
I'm giving one star based on how messed up the parking lot is. Service is great, no complaints The parking lot is full of giant potholes, which makes it hard to get in and out. Every year this happens and every year they patch the lot & exit. The whole lot and exit needs to be reconfigured so that this stops happening. It's frustrating and needs to be properly addressed.
Best post office experience ever. Went in for passports and was greeted with a smile and quick service. Taylor really held our hand through everything. Thanks Taylor.
Went in yesterday to mail a package. Kiosk printer wasn't working. Go inside and she tells me "cash only" transactions. Seriously!!!
Update they can’t even answer the phone and lost another package smh . this was 5 years ago They lose a lot of packages. They can never find my stuff and very rude Sevice. Still haven’t the same problem 5 years later
Do not received mail everyday, l get notice of what is being delivered, today is the 2nd day no mail otherwise l have no other complaints.
I couldn't believe what an amazing experience I had! I walked in with a computer cord that I had no clue how to ship. She made me feel so validated through my anxiety around not having experience with shipping. She was patient and knowledgeable. I hope that if I ever need to ship again, I get Darian! Great Customer service isn't common these days. She rocked it!
The young lady at the counter would not ship books media mail because she thought the package was too big it was well under size restrictions. She refused to measure it she did not have a measuring device why don't they have rulers taped to the counter told me I could go wait in line again to measure. She attempted to over charge for the packages I was trying to ship priority almost $20 for regular priority mail on a 9x12x1 package under 1lb I took my packages to Lee's Summit and everything everything rung up fine there. $20 package shipped for $9.
Contantly having late mail. Bills arrive with few days left to pay them because the bill has shown up so late. The title for my truck was sent by certified mail and did not show up and there has been no notice that they had it at the post office for me so now it has been sent back and i have no way to get it. What a waste of money to try to send mail with little hope of it getting to it's destination.
